Cabinetry

Had an appointment scheduled for 5:00 PM. Marlon showed up at 4:59. Thoroughly professional. Plus beside the cabinet work, I added in some insulation and drywall work. I know his work quality will be 10+ stars. I started working with Marlon in May 2020. COVID-19 delayed a lot of what he could do. Delayed cabinet construction, etc. The first project was a wet bar in our finished lower level. The plumbing was there but no wet bar. Marlon suggested using prefab cabinetry to save on costs of constructing by hand. And he had a contact with a superb cabinet company. And he had a contact with a counter top company, and he suggested using Quartz since it is almost zero maintenance. Marlon had the existing area of carpet removed and replaced with an engineered hardwood flooring. That was done perfectly by his floor installer. Then Marlon built the framework to house the 3 cabinets & mini refrigerator. The counter top company came and measured for the quartz tops. When they were set, they fit perfectly. Marlon directed all this and he did a fantastic job. 10+++ stars!!! This new home is a Richmond home. In our 2-car garage they do not insulate or drywall what is adjacent to an outside wall. So Marlon basically finished off half of the drywall and insulation that was not done, and added 3 coats of paint. Then I needed some shelving in the back of the garage for storage. Bingo!! Marlon designed it and in 4 hours I had exactly what I needed. Bottom line, you can believe all his 5-star reviews. I give him 10+++ stars. Those items above that are not checked, should be checked also. Work quality is excellent since Marlon is a perfectionist. And Value just happens to be excellent also. You get what you pay for.

Kitchen Remodel

Was very good with recommendations for the work we needed done, especially in relation to our budget. Even helped us with a surprise plumbing issue by getting a plumber at a good price same day, as well as offering to install our Dishwasher for free.

Cabinetry

We needed help removing the cabinet/kitchen appliance garage that was sitting atop our counter, so that we could install new countertops. We also wanted to cut out the kitchen appliance garage to create more usable counter space. Marlon was quick to respond, and was able to squeeze us into his busy schedule. When running late, he promptly informed us of it so that we could change up our schedules. We appreciated that he knew all that was required to complete this project (remove crown molding, remove specific cabinets in order to get the cabinet attached to the kitchen garage out), that he was upfront about the potential damage that can occur w/this type of project, that he had all the equipment required to cut the kitchen garage off of the cabinet, and that he could problem solve for some unexpected surprises (customizations) that the previous homeowner made. He was pleasant to work with, and did a great job!

Cabinetry

Marlon made sure everything was done right, even when the original parts didn’t fit and some changes had to be made in the plan! Highly recommend.

Sink or Faucet Installation or Replacement

Very friendly, on time, professional and did an awesome job installing a pre-built vanity with separate granite top in exchange for a pedestal sink. Very thorough, making sure there were no leaks and worked hard adding copper piping to extend from basement. I would definitely hire him again!
