I highly recommend Tom! He submitted a fair quote to me right away and was able to schedule with me same day. He did a great job on my cabinets :)
My kitchen cabinets were assembled and installed quickly, and they look fantastic.
They redid my kitchen. They put in new cabinets, washer, dryer, Oven/microwave, A warming tray, installed a new window... Installed a kitchen Island....put in a new sink and a pot filler. They were always on time and very professional!
Justin was a pleasure to work with. He was professional, efficient, and very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the whole process. We had our countertops and backsplash done and are very happy with the final product. We would definitely recommend this company for a kitchen remodel!
The workers are polite and come promptly and work very hard. I hired them to do one job at first... to demolish a 14 X 18 foot wall of bricks/entertainment center in a new home that I purchased. My husband and I were very pleased and then re-hired the crew to do a dozen more things to renovate and update this home. Among the tasks they removed tile, removed a 3-way facing gas fireplace that was awkwardly placed, remove brick facing off some columns, move a few floor outlets, take out dated shower sliding doors and move chandeliers and some utility cabinets (so I'd have more space for my large washer/dryer). And more! This is an excellent company that I will continue to use for smaller projects. No one on the team even flinched when I changed my mind about things, they just go with the flow... and do what I ask like true professionals. Pricing on my original project was the best on thumbtack, and continues to be very fair.
Let's start with the diverse number of projects Sterling completed for my family. He built (what felt like 1,000,000) new cabinet doors for our ugly painted oak kitchen and dining room cabinets. He also sanded the cupboard fronts and oiled them all. They went from looking cadaverous (is that a word?) to alive and truly beautiful. Next he cut a doorway/archway in a wall and matched it pretty perfectly to an existing opening. This project included a walnut threshold. Lastly he built us 3 custom walnut tables. All of his work is meticulous. His craftsmanship is exactly what I wanted. The trade off, I feel for his impeccable craftsmanship is the timing. I suspect their are craftsmen out there who are faster. I heard somewhere- that with craft work it's successful if you get 2/3 from the following criteria: fast, affordable, and high quality. With Sterling you get affordable and high quality. In other words, successful.
Zeh's Custom Design did an amazing job restoring our antique farm table, an antique cabinet and mahagony desk. The pces look brand new. Chris had wonderful suggestions and was great to work with. Will definitely use his services again.
We had an 8' cabinet (two 4 ft sections) that actually fell off our laundry room wall. Charlie rebuilt the cabinets for us and explained that the back of the original cabinets had been plywood and eventually couldn't hold the weight of the contents (which really wasn't that much) and thus caused the cabinets to pull away from the wall. Anyway, Charlie has years of cabinet making experience and explained exactly what needed to be done to rebuild the cabinets, make them stronger and re-install them. He was easy to work with and we are delighted with his finished work. We are happy to recommend him to anyone who needs new cabinets or cabinet repairs.
Having finished my basement as my art studio, Matty made my garage into an organized beautiful space. He designed the cabinets around all the sports. The best part about working with Matty is his ingenuity. You never have to tell him what to do. He knows what you want and he does it perfectly. He even fixes things that need fixing.
In addition to providing a highly competitive bid on our kitchen cabinet assembly/installation project, craftsmanship was excellent and they were very accommodating with a last minute schedule shift. Would highly recommend them and will definitely use them again in the future.
Ken was great to work with. He was very helpful and knowledgable in helping to finalize the plans. The cabinets he built were perfect and obviously done by a true craftsman. I would recommend him to anyone.
The expertise of harvest design can't be matched he went above and be on. Mike with harvest design pays lots attention to the smallest details. My project was my idea, I had very little cabinet space and needed more counters. I through out my plan and he put it into motion , cabinets were custom built and a counter top added across the top of cabinets to create a counter top. I later had tile added. .The project to took longer than expected due unexpected circumstances on both our parts. The finished results were we'll with the wait. I would hire again.
We hired Jason to make a bench with drawers and to add cabinets and drawers to our mud room. We found Jason based on his reviews on Thumbtack.com. Jason's work was excellent and well within our budget. His price was less than 50% of what a large closet firm bid for the project and Jason used wood instead of Melamine! We would hire Jason for other projects and recommend him to others.
Uncle Brian’s Home Improvement in Thornton, Colorado has twice done renovation work in our home. Most recently, he’s completed remodeling an upstairs hall bathroom and a bedroom vanity’/sink. Two years ago he completely redesigned and rebuilt our kitchen by changing the layout of our cabinets, by moving a wall that needlessly hid empty space, and by opening the passage to our dining room. The two of us can now prepare dinner together, because we have space to move and counters to prepare meals. Brian went above and beyond what was expected by gently guiding us toward more contemporary styles yet still allowing for our somewhat old-fashioned tastes. With each and every kitchen and bathroom redo, he has jointly created home spaces unique for each customer. We know this because he invited us to see other homes, in which he has worked. We in turn enjoyed showing off our home. While his estimate was not the cheapest; his higher quality materials and workmanship compared well with more expensive contractors, yet was far from being the most costly. His rates were reasonable. Before Brian, we had company “x” do some work for us, but they gave us few choices and refused to adapt to our tastes or even allow us any changes with their “package deal.” Brian, on the other hand, collaborated with us to achieve our goals. First, he took us shopping to learn our tastes allowing for our budget. Whether working on our complete kitchen or overhauling our small bathrooms, he attended to details, such as insulating our bathroom floor and walls keeping my tub water warm longer and putting a plastic cover over my basement light switch, so we need not run up & down trying to figure out how to turn on the light! Also, he filled in the holes his electrician made in the wall and retextured them, too. He custom built matching bathroom mirrored medicine chests, too. More importantly, he found us bargains, whenever he could. Jen, Brian’s go getter, got us a European style adjustable height shower unit at reduced cost—perfect for our home. She also got us a good deal on an over-the-toilet cabinet to match our new comfort height counters. Brian recommended many inexpensive tile choices from which to choose. When we requested cross-reeded glass for our upper kitchen cabinets, he marvelously matched the square pattern with a glass backsplash that looked made-to-match, pleasing us greatly. Oh, he installed a new front entrance for us, too. Our new Feather River door was reasonably priced saving us money over other brands and giving us natural light in our entranceway. Everything looks great. With our kitchen and bathroom projects concluded, we are already on his waiting list to repair our front porch and perhaps replace our back door. Brian and his assistants, Aaron, Jeremiah, Dave and Jen were polite and attentive to our needs. Each day the men cleaned up their mess—a biggy. Our home now has one, complete and pleasing overall unity. We are repeat customers of Uncle Brian’s and heartily recommend his remodeling business to all Angie’s List subscribers in the North Metro Denver area! P.S. The side of his truck reads, “…like having an uncle in the business”—it’s true! Happy Holidays, Jen
Mike and Amy did a phenomenal job from start to finish. They take great pride in their work. The custom built-in cabinets turned out exactly how we had envisioned. Highly recommended!
Roger Barber at Harmony Custom Interiors painted our maple kitchen cabinets off-white with a subtle antiqued accent. This was an extensive job over several weeks. We are very pleased with his work. Our cabinets look very professionally painted, almost brand new. To get this perfect finish, Roger used a very methodical process involving several stages of sanding, priming, deglazing, and painting. He is very perfectionistic and attentive to every little detail, which I really appreciate. He is also considerate and polite. His pricing is reasonable as well. I highly recommend Roger.

We had our kitchen cabinets refinished by N2 Finishing and our cabinets now look brand new. It transformed the look of the entire kitchen. I got several estimates and N2 Finishing was the best price and their work was outstanding with great attention to detail. They started and completed work when promised. John was very dependable and wonderful to work with!!
He came to our house to give us a quote. His is the only we have received so far. He is more expensive that we had hoped. We are waiting to see how he compares with others.
Kiko installed a brand new kitchen, complete with cupboards, exterior and interior lighting and built in microwave. Over 100 boxes arrived from Ikea and Kiko quickly assembled the cabinets without missing a step; we were at a loss as what goes where when they arrived. Kiko was professional, courteous, and finished the project on time and within the quoted price. I highly recommend Kiko and will hire him again if we have a kitchen remodel.
I offer cabinet and granite installation. I provide my customers a fair and professional estimate, with no charge up front.
