Maggie did an outstanding job period. She did everything that I wanted in a surprise dinner for my girlfriend. From sneeking her into the house for the surprise, to cooking everything to perfection at my request. She was friendly to where my gf and I were able to have a romantic dinner and we were able to enjoy the conversations with one another. The evening was perfect and thanks to Maggie for such a memorible night!!
Thomas came to our house to give my 14-year old daughter and I a private cooking lesson. He brought all the ingredients and did a wonderful job showing us techniques and giving us information on organic vegetables and grass-fed meat. Had dinner for two in our house with Dustin. Dustin was professional and informative about the ingredients he was cooking with. The food was excellent, all around; Plated with care as well as tasty. I absolutely plan on having Dustin back in the future.
We ordered Blue Apron for about 6 months and granted the recipes and food were fresh and delicious, the preparation and cleanup was really time consuming. Too much for couples who work full time. I found Nancy Sparrow's meal service on line and after two weeks, we are madly in love with the meals and customer service. Just heat and eat and throw your plate and silverware in the dishwasher. My Foodie husband gives Sparrow Kitchen 10 thumbs up, as do I. It's soooo much better and easier than Blue Apron, Hello Fresh, etc. worth every penny!
Chef Diane, I just wanted to email you to let you know that my son participated in a week long summer camp with you many years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. When it came time for my son to decide what to do after graduating from high school in May of 2012, he thought long and hard about it. I reminded him of how much he enjoyed your cooking classes and that sparked his interest again. Well, my son, now 18 years old, just graduated from Lincoln Culinary Institute in Columbia, MD! He works at Clyde's Tower Oaks Lodge in Rockville, MD and has just gotten his first entree on the menu there, Sauteed Duck Breast with duck confit, spaghetti squash, scrambled duck egg, fried tofu, bean sprouts, carrots, scallions, peanuts and "pad thai" sauce (pictures included). He has also had 2 appetizers on the menu previously, Barcat Oyster "Po' Boy" Crostini and Sauteed Chicken Livers. I just wanted you to know what an influence your kids camp/classes had on my son. Working with Chef Matthew was fantastic from beginning to end. He is very professional and willing to work with different dietary restrictions and changing timelines. Our dinner was lovely and delicious. Everyone at the party was very happy and no one had the stress of hosting or cooking!
Chef Kerry came and did a private cooking lesson for 2 of us. He was happy to help with knife skills, which I specifically requested, and came prepared with handouts and meal ideas that would allow us to practice. The food we cooked was great and lasted us a whole week!
We hired Yaffa for a small gathering (about 35 people) after a memorial service. When we returned from the service, everything was ready. Food and drink professionally and artistically set up just waiting for our guests. Her staff was attentive, but unobtrusive. Trays seemed to refill themselves and there always appeared to be a bountiful supply. The food was delightful, a fresh and enticing array of Mediterranean delicacies. Yaffa's are traditional recipes, not some generic, Americanized imitation. Her dishes are full of flavor and adventure. Not your garden variety catered menus. I recommend the Hummus--it's the best in town. Yaffa brings her personal attention to every event, as if she were cooking for her own family.
Connor was so wonderful! We hired him to teach a cooking class at a bridal shower, and he was so much fun! He taught us how to make two delicious treats and helped make the party entertaining and fun! I will hire him again!! He took time to make sure we had the perfect menu and answered all of my questions leading up to the event, he made us feel like we were his only client (though I know he is busy) The girls are still talking about the party.
Kat was my personal yoga instructor and chef for almost a year before her departure from Milwaukee to Colorado. Let me say first, there is not a day that goes by without me missing her services. Kat is kind, compassionate and incredibly talented. Her yoga services allowed me as a true beginner to enjoy and feel the benefits of yoga. She was patient with me and a great teacher of positions that allowed my body to stretch and release. I am a stage two diabetic and the yoga had a profound effect upon my condition for the good. After learning that Kat had head chef talents, I asked her to come twice a week to my home and prepare meals for myself and my son. The meal plans were excellent and the food, well, there are few fine restaurants that could compete. Kat was very fair with the economics of the work as well. It made for pleasant meals when coming home from work. My son continues to ask where is she and can she come back to Milwaukee for a time to come and prepare food. It is critical in any review that one have trust, confidence and successful communication. Kat gets an A+ from me in all regards. You will be lucky and fortunate to have here skills. My suggestion is do not hesitate. We enjoyed her immensely and miss her yoga and cooking talents. Thanks for listening.
Chef April puts her heart & soul into everything she makes. I have been lucky enough to try many things made by Chef Apil's loving hands, and they have all been absolutely delicious!! She creates a flavorful masterpiece in your mouth with every bite of her cooking and you can totally taste the difference in richness and flavor with all she creates. I can tell by tasting her food that she is completely passionate about what she creates and her presentation of her food is exceptional!! I would highly recommend her amazing cooking to anyone who is planning an event, party, wedding, birthday or just a special weekend treat. Chef April has skills and she knows how to use them!!
Beautifully prepared and delicious food! The seasoning was spot on, and the steaks were cooked to perfection. We had Nomad prepare a meat and cheese board and it was really gorgeous - hated to destroy it but had to dig in!
I've hired Dana twice to cook special lunches for our construction workers on the job site. Dana made the whole process as easy as pie. She delivered a full compliment of fresh, delicious entees, side dishes, condiments, plates,the whole package. It all arrived steaming hot, on time and fit our tight budget. The food disappeared in minutes and every single worker thanked us and said it was fantastic. It all should have cost twice that much. We couldn't believe it, so we did it again. We will hire Well Seasoned Personal Chef for anything that requires cooking in the future and you should too. You will not be disappointed.
Chef John Little's food is delicious! Each course left me in anticipation of the next. His food and beer pairings are out of this world! John's repertoire is large enough that he can cook for any palate. I highly recommend him!
I've used Stephanie's cooking services many times and each time I'm amazed by her creativity in the kitchen. She comes up with dishes that are simple yet bursting with flavor. She's also an amazing teacher. She's patient and always offers constructive feedback. My cooking skills have increased greatly all because of Stephanie. Before I could barley boil water and now I'm confident in cooking steak! I would highly recommend Chef Stephanie as a private chef and/or for cooking lessons.
