Nick promised to complete my project in 3 days and a week and a half later the project is still not complete. He gave me a quote for a horizontal fence and told me the price would actually be lower. When I pointed out part of the fence was not complete, he told me not only would the price not be lower, I would have to pay more to have my fence completed. He asked me to buy the stain, 4 gallons, and when I bought 5 he informed me he was still short. I paid him almost half the project total after he purchased materials (as he said he had spent his mortgage money on them) and now, with a piece of the fence missing, a part of the completed fence unstained, and old fencing still on my patio (instead of having been disposed of), he's demanding final payment and additional funds to complete the project. A professional should be able to accurately quote a project through completion. This feels like bait and switch.
