Dan asked me to call him with details of the job and he would give me a ballpark figure. I sent him pictures, dimensions, and details on how the damage occurred. He again asked me to call him to discuss details and get a ballpark figure. I told him that I could call him but I already gave him all the details I had. The only further thing to do would be for me to give him my tenants phone number so that he could arrange to look at the job. Again, he asked me to call him to discuss, and then said otherwise the ballpark would be $1500. Giving him the benefit of the doubt, I resent all the pictures and dimensional details. He did not respond. He also did not get the job. I gave him all the info he needed and offered to set up an appointment to see the job. He responded sarcastically. I suspect he did not want to quote the job in writing but only over the phone. I later found out that his website says he serves Denver and surrounding. Since I am in CO Springs, I don't even know if he would have serviced my area, and am not sure why he responded to my work request which cited where I was located.
