About this pro
Dave and his team did a great job installing an air conditioner in one of our rentals. He did such a good job that we have hired him for another project and will be our go to guy for future HVAC projects. I will recommend him to others as well.Jun 28, 2018Verified
Honest, quick, fair priced, clean work, no leaks, on time, no games... Be fair to these guys, pay cash, they do great work, I will be working with Dr. HVAC in the future, they have earned my respect and trust in an industry of transplanted dubious characters.Nov 16, 2017Verified

the DR dose not do warranty work for Goodman, (part is under a 20 year warranty) wants to sell me a new furnace ...Dec 7, 2016VerifiedDavid R.'s reply
This was a quote and conversation through thumbtack, I never was hired Not sure why customer decided to review. It seems he marked me hired. That is the only way you receive a review request. The customer was looking for someone to replace his heat exchanger on an 18 year old furnace. The heat exchanger is the Heart of a Furnace, I gave him a price to replace the whole unit for just over 2k since replacing the heat exchanger would cost about 50% the price of a new unit with no warranty. He said that some one was already at his home and told him the issue of a year exchanger, just not sure why it wasn't resolved. Also said the furnace had a 20 was. That was a red flag. Since I install Goodman Furnaces all the time, I know they come out of manufacture with 5years warranty plus an additional 5 years once registered. I always do Warranty work on Equipment that I Install., Just never have much of that issue.
Came on a Sunday, fixed everything in about 2 hours!Jun 10, 2018Verified

- How did you get started doing this type of work?I knew I wanted to learn this trade, so I turned down any and all job offers for almost a year, to get my foot in the door with the correct company that would not just train me, but would send me to school for four years and graduate with honors.
