I was very skeptical about going to mediation. My neighbor and I were very angry. But, Dave and the entire process, really helped us calm down and arrive at a mutually satisfactory solution. Dave saved us a lot of time and money. I can finally move on thanks to Dave.

FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? My standard rate is $235 per hour but, I've discounted it for thumbtack down to $150 per hour. While it may seem impossible to you at this point, most disputes can be mediated to completion in about 2 hours. that means, typically, total cost is only $300. That expense is normally split by both parties. In many cases the other party has not agreed to mediation yet. We will reach out to the other party and contact them in the hopes of getting them to agree. That cost $100 and is deducted from your share of the total mediation expense. As a result, it would only cost you another $50 when we actually go to mediation. The initial conversation with you is no charge.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Step one - Lets talk. Lets get both parties involved. There is a very important "ebb and flow" as to the timing of when meditation can be agreeable to both parties and have the best chance of success. Experience shows that when one party is at that point, most likely, the other party is as close to that point as they ever will be. Take action now. Waiting, usually, finds that enthusiasm to solve the problem "ebbing" away. Step two - After we sign an Agreement to Mediate, I will have a private conversation with each party to better understand the scope of the problem. I will ask for any documentation and we will set a time for the mediation - usually as fast as possible. Step three - The mediation takes place - nowadays - almost always on virtually. The typical referred from Thumbtack mediation takes about 2 hours. Step 4 - Assuming the parties are able to reach an agreement, I will draft that agreement and present it for both parties to sign. Step 5 - I do accept a nice bottle of red wine as a "Thank you". :)
