Daniel Hogans
Introduction: I am currently a college student doing my undergrad in music at Metro State. I started studying piano at age 8, and I started playing and studying drums at age 10.
I started studying with a great drummer, Chad Johnson, and I am currently studying with Paul Romaine and Henrique Almeida (who is now on the faculty at Berklee School of Music in Boston).
My rates are very reasonable for private lessons. I teach beginner and advanced. I also teach anything from jazz, hip hop, funk, rock, Brazilian, afrocuban, and pop drumming.

Daniel is an excellent teacher - we worked together at a music school teaching several days a week with 10-15 students per day. He participated in rock band group classes, recitals, and different styles of learning with all ages on several instruments. Daniel is great with kids, building their confidence and going at their pace, and helping them to enjoy learning their instrument, not just mindlessly going through the motions. He is an experienced musician in and around town and is a great mentor and role model for young musicians. He is extremely talented and has a lot to share, with older musicians who are committed to going deeper into their craft as well as beginners. I highly recommend him!

Daniel is awesome! You can tell he loves music. He was so patient with my 5 year old. He let him choose his favorite song to start learning to help keep his interest. My son has now been practicing non stop. He can't wait until next week's practice!
