Introduction: I teach with great attention to proper technique, posture, and hand position. All of my students learn music theory. I teach them how to understand and interpret different styles of music, how to perform with expression and musicality. Most importantly, I teach all of my students how to practice correctly and efficiently on their own. All of my students participate in various festivals, competitions and recitals every year. Many of them have gone to pursue professional careers in piano performance in the United States and Canada. In addition to maintaining my private studio, I’m the keyboardist for the Colorado Symphony. As an educator, there is nothing more satisfying to me than watching a young child grow from being a student into a mature artist. I strongly believe in providing the highest quality of education to my students.

Natalia is a fabulous piano teacher for students of all ages. She works on all aspects of playing (position, relaxation, phrasing, dynamics, etc.) as well as music theory. I am very impressed with the quality presented at the student recitals!

Natalia is an outstanding piano teacher. Not only is she a true professional, she has been able to instill a deep love for music in my child. My daughter has been taking lessons from Natalia for 9 years and I would highly recommend her as a piano teacher. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is reflective of my professional experience and teaching background. I've been teaching piano for 30 years. Many of my students have pursued musical careers at major universities in the U.S. and Canada.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When I accept a new student, I explain my approach to teaching along with the studio expectations. I listen carefully to the student's goals and align them with the appropriate curriculum. I strongly believe in proper hand technique which prevents injuries and facilitates maximum potential for the student's growth. Learning basic music theory is a required part of my curriculum.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Masters Degree in Piano Performance from the Lamont School of Music University of Denver and a Masters Degree in Piano Pedagogy, Chamber Music and Piano Performance from Lviv Conservatory in Ukraine.
