My name is Kris Bowen from Colorado Wedding Ministers. I am responding to your request for some information on performing your ceremony. Just a little bit about us, so you know who we are and what we do.
We are professional officiants who curate each ceremony to your wants, needs and personal beliefs. We offer the opportunity to do something different, not just the wedding that everyone else had. We do more than just stand up and say a few words. We are with you from start to finish, coaching you if you need it, answering all your questions. Colorado Wedding Ministers knows the value of working with you to craft a ceremony that is just about you; and this great love that you both share, and how that overflows into your family and friends.
When your ceremony is over, we help you sign your license and even file if for you. Removing one of those crazy small details that people sometimes forget. Because are so many small details that go into performing and writing your ceremony, that it takes a professional to help you have a day that is as stress less, full of love, maybe even some fun and laughter!
If you are interested in amazing and economic photos, our photographers capture those ceremony moments that fly by so quickly that you may have not even noticed them! These are your only tangible memories that you will be able to keep for a lifetime.
With almost 40 years combined experience we know just how much it may mean to have someone who understands what you are about to do. Getting Married!!

We had the best experience with Colorado Wedding Ministers. We eloped and had two weeks to find an officiant. Not only did we find and hire THE BEST officiant, we were honored to have I Do for You Photography, who captured some truly amazing photos. If you hire Kris (Colorado Wedding Ministers) you must hire Ken (I Do for You Photography). You will not be disappointed.

I found Kris here on this site when she sent me a response to needing an minister in less than two weeks. My Best Friends son was going to marry his fiancee and self officiate their own wedding. This is not the way we wanted them to begin their new life together. I can absolutely say that Kris and Ken Bowen of Colorado Wedding Ministries made the wedding ceremony today, the huge success that it was. I don't know where I would have been without Kris's guidance and support. Thank you so much for EVERYTHING you did for us, Kris and Ken, the pictures were beyond spectacular. I will be forever grateful to you both. I am so glad that I had you as our professional photographer, Ken Bowen and Kris Bowen, as our Minister!! I would highly, highly recommend!!

Ken officiated our wedding and I can honestly say he did a great job! Our guests complimented our ceremony and all thought he was fantastic! From start to finish Kris and Ken were awesome, they were quick to communicate when we had questions or issues and they eased our nerves from pre wedding to post wedding. They are nice people to work with and are very professional. We are sticklers when it comes to reviewing any kind of service we receive and we can honestly say we would definitely recommend Colorado Wedding Ministers!

Kris Bowen was everything we wanted from our officiant and more. She is affordable, organized, timely, creative, flexible, and very personable. It was really important to me to have a more universalist non-denominational cermony. She had the perfect ceremony format for what we wanted (she has several tradional and non-traditional options for cermonies and you can customize them to your ideas/needs!) We chose to do our own vows within the framework of one her pre-written options with just a few customizations. She arrived early to meet members of the wedding party ahead of time and was the biggest help in keeping the party focused enough to make sure we didn't lose our vows, rings, or anyone in our party before the cermony started. She has several creative photo ideas that she briefly coached us on ahead of time so that we didn't miss those perfect once in a lifetime shots from coming down the aisle to signing the license. We received so many compliments from our friends and family about our ceremony! She is the best I've ever seen at any wedding!
