This guy was great...got on my call for help quickly and repaired my basement stairs preventing possible accidents.
Forrest Ponder recently completed a complete gut and renovation of our 1957 master bathroom. The renovation included installation of a bathtub, toilet, double sink vanity, a shower with glass doors, a new window replacement, and radiant tile flooring. We are very happy with the way that the project turned out and Forrest was really easy to work with. He was great at listening to our wants/needs for the project and then carrying out our vision. He was quite concerned with making sure that we were happy, and corrected anything that we were not 100% satisfied with on the first round. He was detail oriented and kept our house clean throughout the project. Our bathroom renovation turned out great, and we would highly recommend Forrest for your next project.
Had entryway steps repaired and was under severe time issue. Steve worked with us and got it done well.
Daniel and his crew saved us at the last minute on a bathroom tile installation. They showed up on time each day and did a great job.
We had RW build a removable ramp access in our garage; so, my dad can get in to our house with his scooter. Ryan was prompt, courteous, worked hard and even cleaned up after he was done. He was pleasant and cheerful! Excellent work! I will call on him again.
Charlie did the job (door install) quick, on budget, and was easy to deal with from start to finish.
Shower tile repair, water damage. Tracy did an excellent job. Great skill, reliable. I will use him for all my future projects.
Jack Riggs did an excellent job installing our bathroom floor tile. He was on time and exacting (my husband was impressed by Jack's attention to detail, especially by noting that our floor was 1/16" out of level). He was personable and friendly, and he cares about the quality of his work. His bid came in lower than the other competing Thumbtack bid for the project. He's also a good communicator - even texting me the 2nd day when he was 10 minutes away. I heartily recommend him, and will employ him again.
Scott was great to work with. He did a number of projects for us - installed an interior cat door, put up baby gates, fixed some fencing, installed a smoke detector. On each project, he was thoughtful on how he handled them (re-hanging one of the baby gates so there was space for cats and not for baby). Will definitely hire again.
Matt helped us with a variety of jobs related to our kitchen renovation. We had a very outdated (1940-1950's era) kitchen, and were working to renovate through IKEA. A group associated with IKEA installed new cabinets and countertops, and Matt did literally EVERYTHING else. He performed a difficult demo and prepped our walls for install, and afterwards worked to finish all other aspects of our project- including new tile flooring, cutting for and installing a new sink, and properly installing a microwave/hood combo. These tasks are only a small portion of the total body of work Matt completed however. All told, this was a BIG project for a relatively small kitchen; nonetheless we could not have been more pleased with Matt's craftsmanship, attention to detail, and thoroughness. Matt did not leave anything undone and is clearly passionate about providing the best work possible. Communicating and working with Matt was very easy & straightforward, and there were never any questions about the job being done or the quality of work. Even when we asked Matt do perform additional duties midway through out project, he was flexible in incorporating these additions in. We could not be more happy with our new kitchen and would highly recommend Matt & Big Red Innovations to others (and we will likely be working with him again in the future!).
This was a good experience from start to finish. Mike looked over the old bathroom and provided a written estimate to gut and redo the whole room. We set a start date and on the day we chose they began. Since my house is over 35 years old we expected surprises, so when we found issues with my floor we revised the estimate - the changes were UNDER $1000 and only took one day more. Drywall took the longest to complete, but re-tiling the walls and floors went smoothly! The best surprise was having the glass block shower wall installed - it was done in less than a day and looked fantastic! The entire job took a week and a half and I am thrilled with the end product. - The new shower cartridge had issues so they came back and made it right. They worked clean and picked up all the debris. Am I satisfied? You bet!
Mike and his crew were fantastic! He gave me an affordable bid on installing a fence and got to work right away. Mike always answered his phone and stuck to his word. My new fence looks great! Hire this guy!
Tiling area at was part of a deck now converted into a sunroom. Work included tiling stairs that access the lower level of the sunroom. The work was very difficult because the builder was not precise in the dimensions of the stairs. Daniel and his assistant Scott were meticulous in getting the tile set evenly. The results are outstanding. Took longer than expected, but that was due to the difficult stair area. The post cleanup was done very well...the work area was left ad clean as it was before work and cutting began
After weeks of searching for someone to take on the unique stair railing project we wanted done, we found Jeff and Tanya, Complete Homes Ltd through Thumbtack. They responded quickly, then came by our home to go over the project. They took comprehensive notes, and came back with an estimate very quickly. The project was delayed a bit due to circumstances beyond their control, and time waiting for decisions on our part, but once underway was finished relatively quickly and with good communication from them. The estimate provided was accurate, and the quality of the work is superior. This was not an easy project, and was turned down by other companies that supposedly specialize in unique stair railings. Jeff checked in daily towards the end of the project, and was receptive to the small details and adjustments that we wanted. The project was completed to our extreme satisfaction and we highly recommend this company.
My wife and I were so very happy with our experience with BathPerfect. After living in our home for over 30 years we decided to remodel two of our bathrooms. We selected BathPerfect because of their high reviews and their recommendation from Thumbtack. We were not disappointed. From the time of our first meeting, through the materials selection process, right up until the final walk through BathPerfect was professional in all aspects. The installer that we had was special. Scott Eads was courteous, answered any questions that we had, and was meticulous in the installation of the products that we had selected. My wife and I cannot be happier with the new bathrooms that we have waited so long for. We certainly recommend BathPerefect and are glad to give them a 5 star rating. They deserve it.
I just had my deck , patio slab, and sliding patio doors project done through Red Earth Construction. Family team of Jim, Jason, and Jim Sr. I would use them again. I'm very cautious of who I would use as I have terrible experiences working with contractors in the past, losing money and having uncompleted poor projects.. Each time I have learned what not to do, but having met Jim who I went through the process was great. You get a sense of trust and confidence working with him. I had a budget and I did get other quotes but they came in with the best quote including with the 2 patio doors (custom done through Sunrise). The deck and patio slab took a full week to get done, and sliding doors were put in after. All of their crews that did the specific projects did a beautiful job, I was most impressed with Jerry their window/door installer. They did and great job retro fitting the beautiful sliding patio doors with the blinds . Meticulous on housekeeping , and detail . I will go through Red Earth Construction again on different home projects that can do. The family are all great, professional and easy to work with.
David installed a shower rod for us. He did a great job, on time and very professional. Will definitely hire him again.
They did a great job installing a new bathroom cabinet/sink for us and really paid attention to detail.
I hired Cody to rewire and install the new lighting in my kitchen during construction, and he did an amazing job. The project was a bit complicated due to the structural beams in the ceiling and the original wiring, but Cody was able to work through those challenges with ease. He takes great pride in his job and does it very well. He communicates promptly and clearly when problems arise, and is always available and willing to answer all questions and provide alternate suggestions if necessary.
We used Robinson & Co. to remodel a small bathroom, including drywall, tile, granite, and plumbing. They completed the job as estimated (very reasonable compared to other bids) and their work is high quality. Vern is very professional, easy to work with and dealt with anything that came up quickly and responsively - always ensuring our satisfaction in the end. We would definitely recommend Robinson & Co. again and would use them again for future projects.
Great guys delivering a fantastic product. We used them to remove a load bearing wall and install built-in cabinets for our liquor store and the end result was better than we even imagined. Best part is that it was on time, on budget and no hassle.
