Introduction: I started GB Culinary Concepts in order to bring my passion and dedication to delicious, fresh, and flavorful food to the home table. Being a former restaurant chef who has trained and worked in some of the top restaurants in the country, as well as in Paris, I bring a restaurant-style meal to those not wanting to get caught up in going out. I provide in-home private dining that could range from a week's worth of meals in your fridge, ready to eat, to a 7-course dinner with friends. I also offer small event catering, which could be a BBQ in the backyard, a passed hors d'oeuvres event, or wine and cheese social. The options are endless, as my goal is to provide you a spectacular event where you can kick your feet up and take away the stress. The details are spot on, and the food is delicious! I also offer culinary consulting, providing system reorganization, operational efficiency, menu development, staff training, and complete operational overhauls. Let me take a step back with you and provide a second set of eyes to help correct your budget, become HAACP certified, or create the "house specialty". My services are vast and with that, carry a variety of pricing options. As I feel that every customer is unique and special, I do not have a standard pricing. I would rather take the extra time to create a price that is directly related to the service you require than to lump it all together and be unfair to some. I truly love what I do, and my passion is seen on the plate, in my dedication, and on my smile while I cook. I look forward to hearing from you!

Grant came to cook dinner for us and a few of our friends. The dinner was fantastic. He came prepared for everything, pots, pans, dishes, silverware, everything. We spent part of the evening chatting with him while he made our dinner and hours d'ourves. When we finally dragged ourselves away from asking Grant about 100 questions about cooking, we sat down to dinner and were presented with three beautifully prepared and presented courses, each one delicious. We had a zuchini salad to start, a steak for a main and a pavlova for desert. For me the Pavlova was the best, it was a dish I had grown up with my mom making for special occasions and Grant stepped it up a notch with berry cream and muddle strawberries. It was amazing! We will have Grant cook for us again and again.

Grant just did our wedding reception on 02/14/14 - Valentine's Day, and he did an excellent job. He was professional, thorough, punctual, and a real pleasure to work with.   • What types of customers have you worked with?

    Most commonly my background brings in a lot of private dinners where I get to let my clients sip on a glass of wine while watching me prepare and plate multiple courses with the look and feel of a 5-star restaurant. This commonly happens in a private residence or a rental property while on vacation. Farm dinners and backyard bbqs are another highly requested event where most food is plated family style on a long table allowing everyone to socialize while eating fresh smoked or grilled proteins and farm fresh veggies!

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

    Any provider in my business should be more than happy to work on your budget to provide the best service. Standard rates and prices do not work well in this profession as every event is different and should be treated uniquely. Each event should have a customized menu not some standard fare that everyone can cook, which means it should have a customized price.
