One By One Tile & Stone LLC.
About this pro
One by One Tile is completely disorganized and sloppy. I had Tom come to my home and he measured my master bath shower for a tile job, gave me a price that did include a military discount (thank you!), and I hired them. Instead of being sent a detailed list of the items that I would need to purchase for the job to be done (shower pan, tile, grout, caulking, etc). I was sent one picture (a screen shot from Lowes.com) of a shower pan and given an idea of how many square feet of tile that I needed. We had to special order the shower pan in the size we were given and after it finally came in and another one of One by One's employees went to install it, he informed us that it was the wrong size. My husband was then sarcastically told by the head guy, Tom, that he didn't think we would go buy the shower pan based off his picture. I don't know what else he thought we would do... go measure it ourselves? A new shower pan would take another week or two to come in delaying our job. The company should have done their measurements and sent the customer a simple, yet detailed list of all the things they needed to buy by the start date of the job. Instead we had to ask what was needed, what grout he wanted (which he only wanted a specific one from a specific store), etc. The job took a week to complete and there were days I had to text the lead guy asking if anyone was showing up that day. His workers showed up at all different times and it was frustrating. I also asked his workers to wear something over their shoes since I had brand new carpet installed recently and that never happened. Tom's workers also left all the pulled-out drywall and tile from my old shower leaned up on the side of my house in a pile of garbage for days. Once the job was complete I called Tom to discuss my dissatisfaction with how one of his workers did the caulking around the tile which was sloppy and left smudges of caulking all down the walls and ceiling. Instead of coming to see it, although he said he was going to, he sent the guy who did it who simply told me, "Sorry about that." Tom then got into a yelling argument with me and told me that he'd be happy to come over to my house again and point out all of the things wrong with it. This was so out of line and rude of anyone that runs any type of business that I would recommend that no one hire this company. Standing back my master shower looks beautiful; however, when you look up close, you see the sloppy work ethic that these guys have - don't waste your money.May 3, 2016Verified
We set an appointment for 11am, I took the day off work, they never showed, and didn't even call to let me know that they'd be late/no-show.Apr 12, 2016Verified
