FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always wanted to do something in music as long as I can remember. I started taking piano lessons at age 5 by my own request (not my parents'). I grew up in a musical family, so music was always in my blood. Teaching is such a blessing because it always me to inspire my students the way my teachers inspired me.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Most of my lessons are one-on-one. I have a pretty even mix of child and adult students. I definitely taylor each lesson to the student.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
There are a lot of different guitar teachers out there, but not a lot of them have college degrees or experience with important topics such as reading music, advanced music theory, and experience dealing gracefully with other people. I have all of those qualities. I'm also very flexible because I know your schedule may have a tendency to change from week to week.
