Of all the people who contacted me, Tom was the only one who was persistent. He was very professional, did a great job, and left my house clean after his work. I'd highly recommend him.Dec 1, 2018Verified
Tom did an outstanding job with a long list of projects we organized for out move out week. We are grateful that he made the house look its best for buyers. We would highly recommend Tom.Aug 27, 2018Verified

We had a small hole in our wall that needed to be patched from a gas heater removal. We also needed the old heater thermostat and wire removed. Tom quickly responded on Thumbtack and was very flexible with the timing of the project. He was punctual, courteous, and professional. And we loved the repair work he did. We will definitely use Tom, again!Jan 8, 2018Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? My hourly rate ranges between $40 and $50 an hour, depending on the tasks, and I usually require a two hour minimum. If the job is in the mountains, or requires traveling time, I charge a trip charge.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? It starts with a phone call. I try to get as much information as possible about the job by speaking with the homeowner. Then we decide on a time for me to come over and see the job. I talk with the homeowner, discuss options, if that is applicable, go over what materials are needed, and then we schedule a date to start the work.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I spent a year as a VISTA volunteer building homes for a group of low income families. This is where my training started with the building trades. I have continued to expand my skills over the years.
