FAQs
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Unless you have an acute musculoskeletal injury, and nothing else, I generally recommend seeing a licensed acupuncturist who is nationally certified in Chinese herbal medicine, as well. With that much education, the depth of internal diagnosis is unparalleled. On the other hand, if you are an athlete with an injury, see a licensed sports medicine acupuncturist! Just make sure you understand the level of education and expertise your practitioner has... And never work with anyone who gives you a bad feeling.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Acupuncture is a very logical system of medicine. The theories resist fragmented analysis, but the process of careful clinical trials over centuries has resulted in very effective treatment options. Biomedical science is learning to explain how it works, but I'm more interested in the fact that it works... And I think my patients agree.
