Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I have additional training in Somatic Experiencing, as well as a four-year MSOM and national certification as an acupuncturist and herbalist. I am well-equipped to provide gentle, effective support for people who have tried everything else (including acupuncture with someone else). I LOVE working with people who are ready for change! They know it's not going to come easy, but the alternative isn't any easier in the long run. I just honor that drive to really love your life, and I'm so happy I have these tools to help!

I have found somatic experiencing a powerful way to heal deep sub-conscious patterns. My time with Katherine doing this work has been very valuable to my healing process!

Katherine is not only knowledgeable and passionate about her practice but also sensitive and warm in listening to what is not working for you at the moment. I came in experiencing early signs of menopause like hot flashes and trouble sleeping and within a few weeks of consulting with her, felt a huge shift and actually the elimination of both symptoms. I highly recommend her!

I've received treatments from Katherine over the past year, and she's helped me immensely with everything from stress management to vision issues (central serous retinopathy) to even ankle sprains. She is exceptionally knowledgeable and passionate about her practice, and when you see her, it's very clear that her #1 priority is your health and well-being.

FAQs

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Unless you have an acute musculoskeletal injury, and nothing else, I generally recommend seeing a licensed acupuncturist who is nationally certified in Chinese herbal medicine, as well. With that much education, the depth of internal diagnosis is unparalleled. On the other hand, if you are an athlete with an injury, see a licensed sports medicine acupuncturist! Just make sure you understand the level of education and expertise your practitioner has... And never work with anyone who gives you a bad feeling.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Acupuncture is a very logical system of medicine. The theories resist fragmented analysis, but the process of careful clinical trials over centuries has resulted in very effective treatment options. Biomedical science is learning to explain how it works, but I'm more interested in the fact that it works... And I think my patients agree.
