Working with Jason as my personal trainer was an excellent experience. Jason is extremely professional, and conducts himself with the highest level of integrity. But overall, Jason is a caring and thoughtful person. He wants you to reach your goals and he knows that every person is unique. His knowledge of the human body and nutrition is deep and vast and he used this expertise to develop a program that helped me to move toward and reach my goals. Working with Jason helped me run my first marathon which at one point seemed unattainable to me. I have worked with several trainers, and coaches and overall Jason is the person I would recommend without reservation.
I highly recommend WillPower Fitness. I contacted WillPower Fitness to find a personal trainer, and found credible trainers with comprehensive personal training programs to help me to reach my goals. (exactly as it's advertised) How I see the gym environment: It's a great, welcoming community with music playing, natural light, and trainers coaching members through sets and reps. You can hear encouragement to members on that last rep, telling them they can do it. They have the variety of equipment, activity, and resources you need. The trainers are somehow attentive to the entire gym, keep everyone busy, communicate well, and have the knowledge I wish I had about the body and its needs...from weight-loss to elite athlete programs. How it started for me: I came to my first session with defined fitness goals and a lot of my printouts from previous 'training programs.' That first day we jumped right into a training session, and I assumed it was to evaluate my fitness level. A few days later, I found out that my trainer actually read those grids from past trainers -- I was impressed he cared. He explained the target muscle groups of my previous program versus how the body works and the strength I need to build. When I competed in the past I never felt fit in the right way, and paired with this logical justification, it made sense that my training needed an adjustment. My updated program focuses on finding maximum efficiency and developing the muscles needed to perform intervals over a long period of time. Plus, building strength in the right way to support joints and mobility, which I assume helps me avoid injury. It is definitely worth it.
I've worked with a few personal trainers during my life and her professional manner as well as coaching style is just what we needed. I look forward to continuing to work with her, and despite the muscle soreness after our sessions gym time is one of the things I like forward to every week.
Josh Spencer is very charismatic about his work. Josh cares deeply about each and every client, and takes the time to construct individual plan to meet their needs and goals. Josh is constantly expanding his knowledge. Josh will always push you to be better, faster stronger than you were yesterday. He will always be conscientious in his pushing, and very aware and will check in with you frequently to make sure that he pushes you enough to make gains, but not incur injury. Josh also helps clients build healthy habits, one step at a time. Josh will help you overhaul your habits starting small and building on each step. Clients will master one change before moving on to another. For me, the accountability that Josh provides without judgement and without patronizing will keep you pushing forward. I have never been very active or interested in fitness, but finally push came to shove and I started feeling very down and out about my body, I was very nervous at first, scared that it would be embarrassing or worse, I would be working with someone who made me feel uncomfortable or that I didn't like. Karisa was like a breath of fresh air, all my fears fell away with our first meeting! She is very friendly and professional and made me feel comfortable immediately! It did not take long before I started seeing results, and feeling more confident. Even though she pushed me hard, she continuously made me feel capable and like I could do it. We really built a trust and friendship, I was excited to meet with her, it became kind of like therapy, and like I was getting to hang out with a good motivating girlfriend. I was feeling stronger, more energized, and overall healthy in no time. She continued to push me, even when I didn't want to work, and she continued to motivate me and help me see results. I never felt bad or judged if cheated my diet, and I learned so much about myself, my nutrition and my fitness! I love working with Karisa, and will continue to work with her. I would recommend anyone to work with Karisa! She helped me work out a lot of problems I didn't even know I was having, physically, mentally and emotionally! I started with Priscilla and Camp MissFits in July 2015. In August I walked my first 5k! The small classes are perfect because you really get a sense of being among friends. The coaches are awesome and are always quick to give me modifications based on my fitness level. Highly recommend.

When I made the decision to work with a nutritionist, I wouldn't say I was necessarily at a rock bottom and needed to make some major life changes. I’ve actually never felt like I was obscenely over weight, and I’ve always ate relatively healthy meals. I didn’t go to a nutritionist with the intention of learning how to love vegetables. I have (and will always) love salads and plates full of vegetables. The breaking point for me was that no matter how hard I worked out or how healthy I felt like I was eating, I could never push myself past a certain plateau. I felt stuck at 165lbs with flabby arms and unattractive back & stomach fat. For awhile, I was just telling myself its ok, this is who I am. When I got with Stephanie, we set goals to tone up, drop a few pounds and create new patterns for healthier eating. To my surprise, I have kept up with the plan and plan on continuing to do so. In the 6months I worked with Stephanie, I eased into many important lifestyle habits that I actually love doing even after our sessions stopped, like drinking warm water and lemon every morning, taking handful of important vitamins, taking a brisk walk after my meals, no snacking and recognizing what kind of foods or exercise my body needs during the cycle I’m at. Stephanie is a blast to hang out with. She tailors her programs to what you need and she really helps you get to your goals. I lost 12pounds (and still losing weight!) in the 6months that I worked with her, I started buying smaller clothes, and love being photographed. Stephanie, I can’t thank you enough. This guy is amazing! I had been entertaining the thought of hiring a personal trainer for sometime, however I was extremely skeptical. I met with BJ and discussed what my options were and what I wanted to accomplish. I had a really good feeling about hiring him as my personal trainer. After our first workout, I knew I made the right choice! It is obvious he has a passion for what he does and sincerely cares about your safety and progress. Spring was a life saver for me and my family. She coached me on nutrition for my hyperactive son. Diet made such a huge difference in his behavior and Spring offered suggestions and meal plans to help us.
