  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Do your research and ask questions. Just because a you've received a referral or saw a great video online for a company does not mean the provider can deliver like that 100% of the time. Check the with the Better Business Bureau, the licensing authorities for local and long distance moving, and speak with the providers representative. Be cautious of quotes that are too good to be true. Get the quotes in writing and ask for a guaranteed price. Read the company provided doumentation. Check with the local consumer advocates. Ask you friends for references. For larger moves, make sure to have a company representative do an in-home or in-office estimate.
