This contractor accepted this job as a remodel done wrong. It was slate natural stone which is difficult to work with. The contractors all did well & he found a leak from their her contractor which he fixed. They did a good job & you just have to monitor work regularly. A good crew!
Wed Aug 16, 8:18 PM If you’re contemplating hiring a good General Contractor, Daniel Gonzalez and his construction teams are your guys! We hired Daniel to finish 1,300 square feet including an extra bedroom, laundry area, storage room and quilt studio in our basement. Daniel gave a fair quote and he brought top notch teams and hard working guys to the project! His electrician did an excellent job installing all new electrical; and his HVAC guy ran new heat ducts and installed a whole house humidifier. The plumber ran new plumbing for a utility sink and washing machine. The framer did a fabulous job independently building our design to our exact specifications and even added decorative arches. The drywall guys hauled in heavy drywall sheets one-by-one because it wouldn’t fit into our window wells. The drywall installers got 4 rooms put up in one and ½ days! The tapers and texture's did an excellent job taping drywall seams and adding texture in less than two days for each team. Daniel’s crews showed up on time, they were respectful, trustworthy, and we appreciated how hard they all worked to get the job done in a timely manner. Daniel and his trim and paint team did an excellent job painting, installing our flooring, trim, doors, hardware and window ledges. Best of all, Daniel is an honest guy and does what he agrees to do. Treat these guys right and they’ll treat you right! Great job! We love our new space! Thanks Daniel!
We gutted a bathroom we plan to remodel. But when it comes to drywall, I just don't have the patience. A friend recommended I download Thumbtack. So I did, and decided to give it a try. I posted the job and got a pretty quick response from Anaid (Contractor's name is LeRoy). The next day he was able to come by and assess the job. He gave me a reasonable price right there. I accepted, and we set a start date. At every turn he was professional – showed up on time, communicated clearly, was mindful of carpet, putting down a cover over the entire walk path. The job itself was done perfectly - no visible seams, even texture, etc. He even took the time to cover the water lines, which I hadn't done ahead of time. I have to say, I highly recommend this guy, and I will likely call him up again next time I need some help on a project.
First off, I GC'd my own house remodel and Sam is 1 of 3 contractors that I'll do work with again. Most importantly to me, Sam provides exceptional customer service. Sam is responsive, detailed, friendly and very knowledgeable. Sam installed new radiant heating elements and all new covers for them. The project was a bit tricky (IMO), because the pipes feeding the water had to be cut and welded back together at both ends for the new fins and back part of the covers. All of the work was done correctly, promptly and within his estimated project time. In this market, there are a lot more bad contractors than there are good ones. Custom Solutions will do well with all of their knowledge and intangibles that make customers happy. Thank you! Look forward to finishing up our house remodel (new swamp cooler) with you guys down the road. Happy Customers, Matt and Shelby
David did an incredible job on my project! I will hire him again, and highly recommend this professional. His work ethic shows. Thank you David!
I had my clothes dryer repaired. Karl was true to his quote even though it was more complicated than he first expected. Got the job done well. Very pleasant to work with.
I own a 20 year old furnace, that is now giving me problems. So, I thought of installing a new furnace. I contacted three nearest HVAC contractors for same. But, fees vary from contractor to contractor. Then my friend suggest me At Parker Service Company, a top rated company for certified furnace installation. I immediately gave them a call after which, they sent their expert technician who guided me through the various options that I had. He suggested me the best furnace I could buy according to the quality and the cost to fit into my budget. The installation was quick and quite reasonable too.
He was polite respectful he gave us quality for what we needed. He was our only contractor for drywall including taping, texturing, and painting. He gave us tips on how to do things better which added to our learning experience in building a home. Appreciated his input and the texture examples he gave us options. It was an enormous job. We had 12 foot sheets 5/8” thick—very heavy and awkward and he was able to install them including the ceilings. We were impressed with his work especially most of the time he worked alone. During his downtime while waiting for stuff to dry he assisted our other contractors, Which included an outside deck surrounding the house as well as flooring, and insulation.
Working with Michael was the best experience I've had thus far with contractors. I had my master bathroom done and not only was it beautifully executed but, it was done in a timely manner. Working with him was very pleasant and I'd recommend his work to anyone.
Dan and his crew helped remove a potentially load bearing wall and various electrical upgrades in a pre-1900's home. He was able to start and complete the job within my semi-short timeframe (about one week's notice), was on time, clean, and the finished product was exactly what we hoped for!
Ryan painted my dad's house (interior and exterior) so we could put it on the market. He did a nice enough job that our realtor approached Ryan to paint her son's house after seeing how Dad's house turned out. That's a real compliment, since her husband is a contractor--she knows good workmanship when she sees it.
Adam was right on it coming out to look at the leak on my roof and was able to get someone out very quickly to get the repairs done. I will definitely recommend Adam and Rocky Mountain Roofing and Restoration.
We had a general idea what we wanted done with the kitchen in our new house, but weren't sure where we would find the expertise and creative mind to help us not only round out our plan but also accomplish it... We interviewed a handful of contractors but when we met Tim Hertzog, we knew we found the right person for the job. From our first introductions, he was professional and personable and really helped us develop our ideas. He was reliable and timely, with everything done according to the timeline we laid out together. We loved the subcontractors he brought in for various aspects of the work. It was a big job with doorways widened; new floors; new appliances; new cabinets; new island; new lighting; new window framing; wall/ceiling texture and paint and more... and we LOVE it. Almost a year later the quality of the work stands up and there isn't anything we would change. The costs of the project was fair and upfront. There were no hidden or surprise costs; everything was discussed up front and/or as new requests (from us) came along. We have since had him help with smaller projects and have referred him to our friends and family. We give our highest recommendation for Hertzog Renovations and Restorations LLC.
Air Duct did a fantastic job for me insulting my basement. I originally only wanted the ceiling done however, the city inspector said I also had to add additional insulation to the wall. Adi said no problem and did an excellent job. The inspector also commented on the professional insulation.
