Great teachers with flexibility for our schedule. My child has learned a lot and she really enjoys her piano lessons.
I had a very positive first experience with Mary. She is very nice and I can see that she is knowledgeable. I look forward to taking vocal lessons and organ lessons from her.
I have been taking guitar lessons with Edward for over six months now. i have been amazed at how much I have learned (especially since I don't have time to practice as much as I would like). The best part is that lessons with Edward are not only about the physical act of playing, but also cover Music theory and "philosophy of music." Also, his studio is comfortable and mellow and really helps me get into another zone from the rest of my busy life. It all comes together to be a wonderful and rewarding experience!
Working with Calee for my piano lessons has been so fun. I took piano for 8+ years growing up, and then took 13 years off. She has done a great job of helping me relearn the basics and expand upon that knowledge. Would definitely recommend Calee and DMI!
I started piano lessons with Dr. Heger two weeks ago as an adult beginner with no prior musical experience, and I've already learned how to read notes and play some basic songs. She is a really great teacher! Before I started lessons, the thought of being able to play piano seemed overwhelming and impossible, but Dr. Heger does such a good job of taking you through it step by step. I'm making progress way faster than I expected and look forward to continuing lessons. Dr. Heger is also very responsive with communicating and flexible with scheduling lessons, and her rate is a really good deal. I definitely recommend her to anyone who wants to learn how to play the piano.
Kristine was a wonderful teacher. I am 60 years old taking piano lessons for the first time. Her patience and easy way with me gave me confidence to persevere! We worked together for about 6 months, I loved it my time working with Kristine!
I had contacted Mr. Randall while looking for a piano teacher/lesson as a gift for my wife for her birthday as she has always wanted to learn piano. Robert made the transaction easy, kept the secret and I was able to present my wife with a personalized gift certificate for her birthday. He contacted her right away after she had received her gift and set up her lessons. He is very flexible and approachable. She has had her first lesson and LOVED the experience and appreciated Robert's background and extension music knowledge, she looks forward to continuing her journey with Mr. Randall and making one of her all time dreams become a reality. Highly Recommend!
Calee is an amazing teacher! She teaches in a way that everyone can understand and she’s really good at making sure each student feels confident and comfortable in what they’re doing. Calee is also just an extremely nice person and is really easy to talk to which makes the learning process easier. I would highly recommend Calee for lessons of all kinds!!
Kathy is a wonderful teacher. She has such a passion for music and her students. My daughter loves going to piano lessons now. We are so happy that we found her :)
Amy has been nothing short of amazing. My son, Ryan, adores her and is eager to continue his lessons with her!
Sarah is an excellent piano instructor. She not only knows her stuff, but she does a great job explaining it to me in a way that makes sense. I was nervous at first about trying to get back into music, but Sarah quickly figured out what I already knew and started introducing new material right at my level. She puts a lot of work into planning lessons ahead of time that meet my needs and personal goals. Would definitely recommend this studio to any adult student!
I had a great experience with Damion when I took some Piano lessons at Rocky Mountain Academy of Music. They have a great open studio in Colorado Springs. I recommend all my family and friends to this studio.
I worked with Linda Combellick for about 5 years throughout high school. She was phenomenal not only in improving and developing my vocal technique, but also preparing me for various performances in school and church, and for my college auditions. Her teaching helped me receive vocal scholarships at my current school. She is fun in lessons, but she also ensures that you learn a lot and build repertoire. Finally, besides being a great teacher, she is a kind and easygoing person who is an absolute joy to know.
Miss Lyza has been great with our kids - ages 6 and 4 1/2. She has coordinated time for individual piano lessons as well as time together for rhythm. She comes to our house which is super convenient and has been flexible with scheduling times.
Music is as simple as "do, re, mi!" Simply Musical Studios has openings for more students this spring!
Hello! I am Daniel, a music professional, educator and music producer. My experience spans 10 years in the Music Education, Piano Performance, Production & Composition, and Artist Development field.I have educated and collaborated with students, artists, and music enthusiasts of several genres, and proficiency levels internationally. I'm quite student focused and strive to assist my students in achieving their specific goals. I commit to working one on one, to help get information students need from every lesson. I believe one key way to educate is by creating a friendly, relaxed, affable and non- judgmental atmosphere. I work with adult and teenage students, students with special needs, and students looking for instruction in genre specifics like, rock, pop, blues, Afro-beat and many more.
I have an expansive amount of experience in performance and teaching. I was section leader in my high school choir, have performed in multiple musicals and plays and piano recitals and received private lessons.
Receive quality piano instruction for all ages. Learn to play the piano or spend some time on bettering your skills.
Our teaching philosophy is to instill a love of music through inspiration. Along with several years of teaching and performance experience, as well as successfully clearing a background check, Musika teachers are also graduates from reputable domestic and international conservatories, colleges, and universities. Musika Music Lessons takes time and consideration in pairing each student with a professional music educator that will help develop an understanding of all fundamental principles in music. We are happy to accommodate each student with any special requests that they may have.
My goal with teaching is to make my students lives brighter. I teach all styles from 3 year old Suzuki students, to adult fiddle students, to very advanced college prep students. I teach the human being first and musician second. I offer students many performance opportunities: recitals, group concerts, group lessons, and help students to get accepted into competitive youth orchestras.
I have 3 programs - traditional private piano lessons (ages 6 1/2 and up), Let's Play Music (ages 4-6) and Sound Beginnings (ages 2-4) Let's Play Music is a 3-year music theory course for starting ages 4-6, that emphasizes total musicianship through piano playing, singing, classical music, note reading, and ear training, and that's accomplished through play! Let's Play Music is based on the philosophies of Kodaly, Dalcroze and Orff. Students learn to read rhythms by saying bug notes (four 16th notes is "cat-er-pil-lar"), learn chord progressions through colors (I is a red chord, IV is a blue chord, V is a yellow chord) and much more. They start on the autoharp and bell set for their 1st year and transfer the skills they learned to the piano on the 2nd and 3rd year. They learn advanced theory skills while also developing their ear skills. By the end of the program, the students compose their own song and play it at the recital. Let's Play Music is a great program both for students who want to go on and study classical music and those who want to play popular music since it teaches the necessary skills for both. Ear training, composing, transposing, and an understanding of chords are very important skills for the contemporary 21st-century musician that are often neglected in traditional piano lessons. These are huge focuses in Let's Play Music and in my private piano lessons as well.
