FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I wouldn't consider my pricing system complicated, but it does depend on the individual business. We work with each client to understand their needs and desires for an SEO campaign. Some are only looking for exposure for their business, while most are actively seeking new customers. The clients industry partially dictates pricing. As you can imagine, there will be many more personal injury attorneys looking for clients than meditation therapists. Due to the nuances of each industry the pricing will vary as the amount of resources to achieve your goals will vary based upon your industry and your end goals.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Absolutely! I spend hundreds of hours every year and tens of thousands of dollars ensuring that I stay current in my industry. I perform constant testing of methodologies so that I know what impact they may have on a client's project.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
You get what you pay for. I know it's cliche, but it's so true. Many SEO companies will have standard pricing for all of their clients. This is the first sign that they either don't know what they're doing, they will be outsourcing the work to someone else, loosing any quality control, or that they will employ "spam" methods to rank your site. As with many industries, SEO requires a custom fit solution, which we provide to every client. If you're only looking to rank within your local community, the pricing will be less than if you're looking to rank nationally. It's simply a matter of the resources involved - one takes more than the other.
