- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For tutoring online or at my home office, I charge $85-100/hr. For standardized test prep (SAT, ACT, LSAT, GRE, GED, and AP tests), I charge $100-120/hr. For college or grad school consulting, I charge $85-120. I can adjust my rates if we work multiple hours per week, or if paid in full for a month. If I travel to you, the mileage fee is $1.75/mi each way.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Usually we start with a free phone consultation to establish goals and expectations. Depending on the consultation and the number and anticipated nature of our first session, I might spend a little time getting to know the student or dive right in to the subject matter.
