Mr. Eggert responded very quickly and performed the job as asked including server virus scan set up, print to PDF file, Quickbooks upgrade, including set up on new PC and back ups on server, then charged no more than the last tech support company. He is now setting up a website for reasonable price in only one week.
I contacted Gary and Compu10 after my previous PC technician was unavailable, and only after a thorough search of Angie's List for the BEST service provider that I could find.......and I wasn't disappointed! Gary came to my home so that we could discuss in detail the scope of work that I needed on my desktop computer and two laptops (one of which was wrought with problems). Gary showed up exactly on time and we spent the next hour discussing in detail the problems that I was having and what support he could provide. We had a very professional conversation during which I complained about my desktop PC "crashing". Gary spent a few minutes working on it and diagnosed the problem as not being my PC at all, but rather a burned out monitor. What a relief, since I had considerable important data on the machine. Gary and I agreed that he would take the PC's with him and perform the agreed upon work at his shop. Gary returned the two machines on time with all the promised work performed (and more!)....at the quoted price. While he was here he installed additional RAM in one laptop and wirelessly networked two other computers, without any additional charge! He took time to explain things to me in language that I could understand and exuded both competence and confidence. Gary and Compu10 are at the top of my list and I would unhesitatingly contact him for any future needed service, as well as unhesitatingly recommend him to any of my friends and family.
The job was to replace a hard drive on a laptop. The visit was prompt and professional. The estimate was accurate. The work was completed quickly and a working computer was back in our hands with a minimum of delay. If I need technical support, I'll get these guys again.
After an initial mix up on the anticipated start date, he finished tiling my fireplace in 2 days with extreme professionalism and quality craftsmanship. I will definitely use his services again. He also helped fix my leaking sink while on the job too!
Paul is very pleasant and was quite helpful in tackling one of the two projects I needed done. If he brought a few more support items (screws), he would have been able to complete the second project as well.
Jimmy and Aimee are amazing! They provided me with the best home audio service I could've possibly asked for or expected. I had some of my own equipment already and I just needed help with set-up and figuring out what else I needed to connect to the built-in speakers in my new home. We made an appointment thinking it would take some time, but when they stopped by to check everything out they had me listening to great quality music throughout my house in no time! They even took extra time out of their schedule to show me some tips & tricks that I had no idea was even possible. They didn't mind my kids asking them a thousand questions, and best of all they charged me far less than what others were quoting me over the phone! Great service, great people!! Although each phone conversation includes a different request, Alan was incredibly helpful. He resolved my concern immediately with a positive manner. Alan provides an excellent customer service experiences because he genuinely listened to my concerns and offered all of the help he could. This was an awesome experience, My son and I had a surge that caused our computer monitor and keyboard not to work. Researched online and none of fixes worked. Found Onsite Consulting in my search for computer repair via Thumbtack. I called several other places prior to calling Scott. The diagnostic cost was way out of budget. Geoff is regularly scheduled to provide us with ten hours a week of IT support at our high volume, 24/7 veterinary hospital. He is always willing to give us more time when we need it, sometimes significantly more time. We have over 180 employees, and he knows almost every person's name. He will coordinate efforts with our employees, vendors and other IT service people to work through a project or trouble-shoot a problem. He is open to feedback and direction.
Very professional help me diagnose my computer I fried my motherboard. He then help me choose a new motherboard processor and RAM to build a custom PC for editing video. Highly recommend

Never used thumbtack before but needed to have a TV mounted to a wall where i could not locate the studs on, so googled and found this site. Got several quotes, went with best price/seemed to have a good grasp on what i needed and could accomplish with little to no extra cost. Called up Computer Savvy and we setup a time. Showed up right on time, with company shirt and and was polite. Got right to business inspecting the wall I needed the tv mounted. went straight to work with no hesitation. located the studs after finding there was a 1" plywood behind drywall that threw the stud sensor off. Ran into some problems with the materials in the wall, but knew exactly how to get job done. Long story short, from walking in the door it took him 1hr at most to mount TV where it would have taken me a lot of time and tools to do what he did. Totally worth the money. Added an outlet behind TV so we didnt have cords showing. Would certainly hire again if needed. Thanks
What can I say? Ryan was responsive and timely in communicating before I agreed to choose him for the job. While he was cost effective in his quoted price it was his responsiveness that made me choose him to begin with. Once he arrived he was professional, knowledgable and efficient. I appreciated his straight forward approach to process and pricing. I will not need to look again for a computer guy - we've found ours in Ryan. I would not hesitate for a moment to recommend him to others!
I expected him to come and review the job, then schedule me to actually perform the work at a later date. Because he's working for a flat rate, there wasn't a delay for a quote process or anything either. He just gave me an estimate for the time to complete the job and began working right away. Also, little things like making sure the closet is clean and everything has it's place is nice, even though hardly anybody is going to see it.
Dave came to my house, even after I had to change the time, more than once, because of my schedule. He was on time and it right to work. He listened to me and even told me what he was doing to fix the problem. He walked me through it more than once. I also enjoyed that he was personable. I would HIGHLY recommend him!!!
