- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?It can be intimidating to put your device into the care of another person. Even when it is urgent, take a little time to get your information together, what you were doing when the fail / problem began, recent changes, along with Make, model, Operating System. Information available at the outset I believe helps to potentially reduce the cost related to time troubleshooting and accessing how to move forward.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?Many times a client has commented on how 'stupid' [or something similar] they are or feel. Depending on their skill-set I typically state that I may very well not be able to come in and process this or that or 'do their job'. It's not that I am so much smarter, my skill-set is different. Because it is based on troubleshoot/repair my expertise does expand beyond computer/electronic repairs.
