Hi Michael, I'm sorry we couldn't solve your problems to your satisfaction. Upgrading your machine to Windows 7 or 10 would fix the problems Firefox was giving you. Vista likely broke something in the newest version of Firefox, and aside from downgrading to an older version of Firefox and opening security flaws, you'd have to wait for another Firefox update to fix the issue. Meanwhile, using another browser on broken sites is a temporary fix until upgrading to a newer, more supported version of Windows.
