FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All jobs are different.period. Then there's hand texture, stamping, pattern/ joint making, acid or water based stain....reflector or colored epoxy and so on. Many variables affect pricing. I ALWAYS willing to sit down with a customer and discuss their budgets and always try and give a little extra beyond the budget. Good and future business demands a happy customer.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
haha! Constantly, And I stay friendly with other good competing contractors and we share things. This is good business.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I initially had a custom deck and patio company and a god friend of mine had been doing this work up in Denver. After working with him for about a year, that was it! I loved the level of creativity and detail involved. For me, for the lack of a better way to put it; it's a sort of zen thing. It's peaceful during the really creative parts no matter how hectic it can become.
