- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do not accept insurance but work on a sliding scale with a going rate of $120 an hour.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I initially develop a rapport with my clients. It is crucial to develop a trusting, therapeutic relationship at the outset. I focus on the the individual needs of the client and how these needs fit into the collective whole. I assign "homework" to better assist in accomplishing our goals.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a graduate of the University of the Rockies (formerly Colorado School of Professional Psychology) where I received a Doctorate Degree in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Forensics. I also received a Masters Degree in Counseling and Human Services and Bachelors Degree in Psychology from University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. I have received several awards and scholarships for demonstrated scholarly excellence and dedication to the field of psychology; with noted particular interests in Existential/Humanistic Psychology in areas relative to relationships, diversity and human dignity. Prior to this, I worked as an Army-trained nurse for 10 years. I am also EMDR certified.
