- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We all have to continuously educate ourselves only because the business climate changes so rapidly. There was a time we all did five year plans. Today the average is about two years. Take classes at your local university, belong to associations in you field and be active, read, watch TV programs that enlighten you not always entertain you. The web is the best resource today to research and gather info. And your local library. Get your own group organize and just chat about "stuff' happening in the profession you're working in or wish to get into. MAke it a fun atmosphere not a serious gig. You'll then have fun learning. Surround yourself with people so much smarter than you.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
This is difficult to pin point that moment in time, but I can say it started when I was in elementary school designing posters and program covers. Then it was referred to as commercial art and went onto one of the top five design schools at in the country at that me. Cliche' to say, but it's forthright...I love what I do.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Direct mail, annual reports, catalogs and posters. Whether it's planning, creating or developing campaigns this is where I believe my past history and continues today where my strengths are.
