We hired Jill in August 2016 to help us design our recently purchased house in Berkeley. It was the first time using a designer for both my wife and me, which meant it was a full learning experience. My wife and I have a very difficult time making design decisions and having Jill to help arbitrate and set a vision really spared our young marriage a test it truly may not have survived. All in all, we have been very happy with the end result of the house. Jill helped us to make decisions quickly and effectively, although we did go over budget by about 15% (as much our fault as hers). Jill has a great eye for color and was really able to help us figure out the mid mod / contemporary blend that we were looking for. She was very fair with her pricing and billing - and we ended up with furniture that we never would have been able to find on our own.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is very flexible. I can either do an hourly rate or a flat fee. I try to make my clients as comfortable with pricing as possible.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I get a feeling for my my clients aesthetic and design needs through, Pinterest, magazine prints, or any examples they may have. I listen very closely to their needs and expectations, work within their budget, snd we all have fun in the process.

Texas Tech University, Bachelor of Interior Design, Minor Architecture
