- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes i do. This field changed all the time. I try to keep up with all the different types of breeds and there styles. I attend workshops and siminars yearly to do so.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Its funny. I was 16 and needed a summer job to make money for my new car. My step sister was hiring for a dog bather so i started there. After 3 months the owner ask me if i wanted to learn how to groom. 6 months later i was a certified groomer in california.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure the facility is kept clean and the groomer know what he or she is talking about.
