Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I am one of only a handful of certified professional trainers in the Jacksonville, Florida area and I focus on positive reward-based training. I have 16 years' experience and over 1000 hours of helping dogs and their owners build better relationships and solve behavior issues. I am passionate about the human-animal bond and I love helping people and dogs live happy lives together! I REALLY enjoy when we see the light bulbs come on and when we've done our job so well that the dog chooses the right behavior without force or intimidation.

Tracee has been great to work with! She is very knowledgable regarding all aspects of doggie life in addition to truly caring about her doggie clients. She is very professional and trust worthy.

Tracee helped us so much with our puppy Hattie! We learned how to work with Hattie's resource guarding and other anxieties, along with the puppy basics. Training is more enjoyable using Tracee's methods, and everyone is happier. Thank you Tracee!

Tracee took great care and time to discuss our puppy training options. I was impressed with her knowledge base and greatly appreciated the time and care she put into our introductory consultation. My initial thoughts were " she provided sound advice, provides a good service (@ reasonable price) ... Also, her passion and dedication came across loud and clear! During our first session I was further impressed. I have been a dog owner most of my life and it was incredible to see how much 'we didn't know' and the difference an hour can make with a professional. She showed us the potential in our Pups and even highlighted a few 'red flags' we were not aware of! We are looking forward to building a long term relationship with Rewarded Behavior Continues...

We hired Tracee with short notice and she was absolutely wonderful, very professional and knowledgeable. She sits down with you and goes over your dog's needs and also helps you with any other concerns. I would recommend her to anyone! Thanks again Tracee!

Tracee is caring and knowlegable. She has been a huge help with my shelter dog. She is a great walker/trainer, you get so much more than a simple walk.

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am a Certified Professional Dog Trainer, CPDT-KA, through the CCPDT. To maintain that certification I earn continuing education credits through organizations such as the Pet Professional Guild (PPG), Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT), and the Academy for Dog Trainers. Daily I am networking with other pet professionals, reading the latest in scientific animal behavior studies and furthering the influence of force-free dog training.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I began dog training as a hobby in 2000 and progressed through obedience, agility, flyball, animal therapy / hospital visiting and dog safety. But I still had to pay the bills with my career in HR management. When I moved to Colorado in 2013 I decided to jump off the corporate ladder and finally pursue my real passion - dogs!

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Always check references and ask these 3 questions: 1. What will happen if my dog gets it right? 2. What will happen if my dog gets it wrong? 3. Are there any less aversive options than what you answered to 1 and 2?
