Introduction: My favorite thing is connecting with my clients. I meet new people all the time and hearing so many different stories, it fills my heart, my mind and my soul! I love to capture those moments that tell their story. I like to show the emotion in photos and share with the world! If I see a photo and can physically feel the emotion in it, then to me that's a good photo!

We had the pleasure of having Christina of JCDC photograph the birth of our son. Through those photos we have been able to experience his birth in a completely different and amazing way. She also did our baby's newborn photos and was open minded and encouraging with the props I wanted to use. She is also amazing with all kids and has such patients with special needs children. She took some amazing photos of our older Autistic son. We turned to JCDC for an Adoption Day session to celebrate the adoption of our twins. She incorporated props from their birth culture and created a one of a kind experience for our family. We couldn't be happier with our experience with JCDC and recommend JCDC to everyone.

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am constantly learning! I research forums and tutorials on how to do new things, I am an avid follower of Creative Live, and they do online video workshops and I learn so much. If I don't know something, I will research it, even trial and error is great, learn through experience or just going out there and doing it. I'm always searching for new things to learn. I follow other great photographers that I admire and some have workshops that I hope to some day be included in. No matter where a photographer is leveled in their field, they are always learning!

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

I do everything I can to satisfy my clients. I stay organized so they have plenty of photos. I listen to every single one of their wants and needs before and during the sessions and do my best to deliver. I let my clients choose locations if they have one in mind and get the shots they want as well as the ones I want. I take time and care in processing of each photo with the use of their vision mixed in with my own, making sure every detail and every vision is accomplished. I'll collect the props needed for certain sessions and let them bring their own. I love my returning clients and reward them for returning with discounted sessions. I love to tell my client's story, if they allow me to :)

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

The best advice I can give is, look for a photographer who's style(s) you Love, don't just look at the price. Shopping around for a photographer is necessary but looking at their portfolio before setting up a meeting is important, you might find you don't need to shop around. You want to be able to see yourself in those images. Many professional photographers, like myself, want to be that photographer for clients; one that produces images and styles that are desired. I offer payment plans and gift certificates (add me to your wedding registry!) and that is something I suggest looking for if you want amazing photos but don't have the money. Find a photographer who's work you can appreciate.
