Introduction: I have been serving the Southern Oregon Coastal area for the last two and a half years. I love being out here. I have a Bachelors of Science degree in Network Communications Management and over 25 years of experience as a business owner in the Construction and Network Communications fields. My Grandfather was an architect and engineer. When he retired, he and my father subdivided our 120 acre ranch into five acre lots and built solar and energy efficient homes on several of them. After growing up working with them, my stint in the Army and several communications companies I formed my own construction/networking company. I care about my projects and people. It is something I do because I love it not because I have to. I like solving problems in a practical way that meets the needs of my clients. I love the feeling of a job well done. Mack did incredible work renovating our chicken run. The quality, craftsmanship, price, and service are unbeatable. Mack was able to adapt plans for our structure as the structure was being built and was very knowledgeable about how to accommodate any changes that were requested. What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I love research. I am constantly pouring over the latest information I can get my hands on. The Passive House Standard was the latest thing I have been looking into. I am fascinated by alternative energy. What a wonderful State to be in for solar and wind.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been a horse trainer and Army medic. I have a Bachelors of Science in Network Communications Management. I studied alternative energy at UCCS. My family sub-divided our ranch in Florence CO, Los Pinos, "The Pines". I grew up helping my Grandfather draft projects and my Dad build them. I have always come back to building because I love to create things that are practical and beautiful. I also like helping people. If I can make a living at it? Well that is an extra bonus.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Typically the design and build of features that update and enhance a home. If the home owner is the general contractor I give them leads in the areas I don't cover.
