Introduction: The massage that you will receive will be tailored to your needs. You will receive healing in all areas of your body, including pain-free deep tissue massage with myofascial therapy and stretches to improve your range of motion in your joints. I was trained in myopractic which includes the very best and most effective approaches to massage. When appropriate, some energy work to alleviate pain can be included. My goal is always to help people feel much better than when they first walk in. I can also give suggestions of exercises to address any issues you might have, and I can give suggestions about nutrition.
I love it when people feel much better after one of my massages. I enjoy challenges, as when someone comes in with a difficult situation, I always work to understand exactly what will help and find the best solution.

I had been to other massage therapists in the past for relaxing massages but I never knew the medical side of a massage and the benefits that it could achieve until I went to Lani. I originally began going to Lani with a debilitating spasm in my upper back. With her wonderful sense of touch and excellent deep-pressure techniques, she was able to alleviate my back spasm. Ive continued seeing her for therapy on my shoulder--relieving pain and increasing my range of motion that is limited due to an old surgery. Lani is very experienced and knowledgeable, and she truly cares about her clients. I would recommend Lani to anyone who needs professional and caring massage therapy.

My massage therapist, Lani Gossett, has given me the opportunity to experience some relief from severe, debilitating pain. Lani treats me for a genetic connective tissue condition that hurts me intensely. Lani did not have specific knowledge of my rare condition, so she began her research and by my second appointment, she was able to discuss MY conditions with me. My joints do not stay in place and Lani helps relieve the pain associated with my tendons stretching, muscles in contraction and spasm and bone on bone pain in my joints. For me, Lani does Cranio Sacral therapy, deep tissue massage, Reiki, and a variety of other techniques that she finds appropriate for my condition. I am a whole person, emotion affecting pain and pain affecting emotion and Lani understands this. During a massage with Lani my spirit is soothed as the pain is relieved, giving me a chance to regain hope so I can continue on this journey of disease progression without so much despair.
I think Lani is amazing and I know she can help people using her skill, knowledge and experience as a healthy person herself. She offers more than just a massage and I recommend Lani with all my heart!

Lani Gossett LMT is an excellent massage therapist. She is not only expert at creating comfort with her skilled hands, but is also able to accurately and sensitively read the needs of those who receive her gifts. As Manager of Volunteer Services for Odyssey Hospice, I have observed her wonderful talent used to bring comfort and peace to our patients.
