- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The International Society of Arboriculture is a very large community and learning center that we Arborists draw our knowledge from. Every year, I study more and more of their guides and I hope to complete the master arborist cert in another 5 to 8 years.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I love the outdoors and once I found out I could get paid to climb trees, the little boy in my heart jumped for joy. After college and having every job under the sun, I realized I was happiest in the outdoors.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Trimming and removing limbs away from power lines, data cables, next to rooflines and against structures. Grinding stumps and removing juniper has become much more prevalent as the past 2 years of wildfires have caused insurance companies to re-examine defensible space and fire mitigation rules around homes.
