Jo is amazing. She took care of everything, sent us samples of ceremonies, different types of vows, how to handle the marriage certificate, knew how to incorporate it into the photos. She asked us questions about each other, found ways to use that in vows, which was an beautiful touch, for our ceremony. She honored our wishes to include religion in our vows and even helped us with the set up to work with the sunset. Jo’s presence is warm, comforting, she feels like she just fits in the moment. She is experienced, and is shows in her professionalism and soothing demeanor. Wedding are stressful, no matter the size. Jo, made life a little easier, so, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you.

Jo officiated the double wedding of my son and daughter in law, and daughter and son in law, and it was apparent that she has a heart for the celebration of marriage! I was caught off guard by how important she was-not just part of a process but so sincere , so special, we won’t forget her!

Our wedding was a small affair and we were doing it on our own when it came to finding a venue, hiring a caterer, flowers, etc. Jo McGuire was a great help in working with us, educating us on the ceremony, and reassuring us everything would work out (which it did). She provided us with a handful of sample ceremony scripts, making it easy to decide how we wanted it to go. No rehearsal required, two phone calls, a couple of emails, and we were ready to go. Her steady calm reassurance was most welcome and reduced the stress of our wedding planning. In the end, it was a wonderful ceremony.
