Acupuncture Rates: In person or telephone consult: FREE Intake exam, diagnosis and first treatment:$200 Body, mind, spirit follow-up, fertility and weight loss: $75 per treatment Mei Zen Cosmetic Acupuncture:$110 per treatment
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
To stay current in my field academically I attend at least one seminar a year as well as continued readings.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I guess you could say fell into acupuncture as profession by universal intervention. After completing my contract as a Hospital Corpsman for the U.S. Military, the VA wanted to do hip surgery on me for debilitating sciatica. I was only 24 years old and decided to seek other options. I was working with a Classical Five-Element Acupuncturist who saved my from needing surgery and helped me with migraines and my PTSD. I was so impressed I dropped my pursuit of pharmacy school and started acupuncture school that same year.
