After completing several personal training regiments at gyms in the past, no program has come remotely close to the one provided to me by Jerome O'Leary at O'Leary Theory. I trained with him one-on-one (at my own gym which was convenient) 3 days a week for roughly three months, and the results he helped me achieve surpassed the goals I set when initially meeting with him. Naturally, I am excited about the transformation that had taken place physically and mentally but, more importantly, Jerome was an outstanding individual to work with and has a great background to support it. His years of experience in the Army set a tone of discipline and taking ownership without sounding like a drill sergeant which was awesome. This definitely helped develop my mental toughness which allowed me to push myself harder than I had in the previous programs. Additionally, Jerome is well educated and very knowledgeable. He took an entirely different approach when preparing an exercise prescription for me which differentiates him from all the trainers I used in the past. For starters, he took it back to basics and broke down the fundamentals on how to exercise properly and safely. At first I thought this was silly, seeing that I wasn't new to the gym. However, I learned that there were a number of things I needed to fix with my form that no trainer had addressed before. This was a blessing in disguise as I've had lingering back and knee problems that prevented me from exercising. I have not had an issue with either since I started with Jerome The routines Jerome created were challenging but attainable and near the end of my sessions with him I found myself exceeding expectations. Overall, this experience has greatly impacted my life and the way in which I exercise. I have Jerome to thank for that. Anyone who is considering using a trainer at a gym I highly recommend you out source and check out what O'Leary Theory has to offer, I promise you the quality is superior to most anything out there, not to mention the professionalism and personalization is unparalleled to the trainers I've used. Do yourself a favor and give this guy a shot, you won't regret it!

I had always had the desire to be a runner. For some reason, I had never found the right motivation/determination/partner/trainer. That is, until I met Jerome. He suggested we go out and run a "quick" mile around downtown Denver. I laughed in his face and just 9 minutes later, we were high fiving. That was the start of my journey, and my pace only excelled from there. From that moment on, I knew that I could achieve anything. Yes, I had moments of wanting to quit, give up, this isn't going to happen, etc. However, Jerome was always there to build me up and keep me going. Not only did I lose 25 lbs and 4 pant sizes, but that dream of becoming a runner had become a reality. Now, when presenting benefit plans at my job in Human Resources, my boss actually uses ME as a healthy example! My favorite attribute about Jerome was his ability to adapt to my behavior and/or mood each day. There was intense, necessary, body-shaping cross training. On those days, he never knew what he was in for, but he knew that I was not interested in a tough love type of coach. I am very stubborn, yet he figured out how to motivate me in spite of that. He really knows his stuff. Being educated on not only what, but why I was doing certain exercises, was a really helpful push for me. He was patient, caring, and genuinely wanted me to succeed. Jerome has become a friend, and I owe him a majority of the success in running my first ever Half Marathon (and completing it in 2 hours, 5 minutes). Running has truly become a passion that I don't believe I would have found without him.

Great bootcamp class provided by Jerome! He was always enthusiastic, but pushed us enough to make it challenging, provided alternate moves if some were unable to do certain exercises and was always there to offer advice and correct form. If you can want a personal trainer who knows what he is doing and has a great attitude, I recommend Jerome!

As a military cadet and officer, I worked out and followed a fairly fit lifestyle. I had to maintain my physical conditioning in order to pass PT tests. I was very good at “gutting it” and then recovering. I was also surrounded by macho guys who knew it all about working out and lifting weights. It was a culture about pushing your limits in sometimes ridiculous ways, much like today’s bootcamp workout routines and other military-inspired fitness trends. It was definitely an atmosphere of pride and testosterone, where the “weak” were the people who got injured and then washed out of programs. When I started working with Clare, she taught me that working out smart, not just hard, would be the best way to get results. She taught me efficiency and the targeting of muscles and muscle systems in a systematic and considered approach. Clare told me to listen to my body, and she tailored my workouts to avoid unnecessary injury and musculoskeletal stress. I also learned from that if you really targeted and isolated a muscle, you could get a better workout at lower weight with less chance of unnecessary strain and setbacks. It was truly eye opening.

I started weight training with Clare back in November. She knew I wanted to get stronger for my yoga practice and offered her coaching/training services. I have always felt I've had a weak back and she explained that it's really a weak core which leads to a weak back. Since I've been doing the weight training and different variations of squats I have noticed a lot less pain in my lower back and that it feels stronger. There is always constant growth and improvement when working with Clare. She pushes me enough to want to work harder and improve myself FOR myself. She is incredibly inspiring with her own strength and positive attitude and that always makes me want to work harder (even though I give her a hard time when she pushes me! lol). She always has me do some sort of core work which helps me get the stronger back that I need. I started strength training with Clare to get stronger, and be good at Yoga. I met Clare first, as my yoga teacher and noticed how fluid and strong she was. Anyway, my biggest challenge was that I had no idea why I couldn't get into key poses. I was under-developed in my back and my hams, and over developed on my shoulders and quads. So I needed balance you could say. What I like best a/b strength training with Clare is her intuitive style to my training and to my body. I don't have to think a/b a thing when I come in, and trust her to get me where I need to be. I'm almost 45, and I'm in the best shape of my life. And like yoga, this training has been great for my head too. My attitude and outlook are some much better, so much stronger....like my muscles. Body + Mind = Balance.

I have trained with Neil for approximately 2 years. Certainly from a technical perspective Neil really knows what he is doing. What sets him apart is that he genuinely wants to help you succeed and listens to you. He always pushes you because he believes In you and knows you are capable of more. As someone who has transformed himself, Neil understands and can relate to the challenges his clients face. If you want results and want to see what you are really capable of you need to spend time training with Neil. While there is no shortcut to success, if you give Neil three months and keep up your end of the bargain you will see results. I have been at STAC for 5 years training with Christine Herr. She keeps me motivated and in shape. She works my entire body including weight training and cardio in 1 private session. I also attend her classes. They are extremely reasonable in price for a great workout. Plus, they are available almost everyday of the week. Chris is now working with me during my first pregnancy. Off The Wall Fitness has changed my life. I was getting so bored at the gym and not seeing any results. So then a friend in Michigan told me to try out Fit Body Bootcamp. I was so happy to see a facility so close to my work, I decided to try it out and it was the best decision I have made! Not only did I want to try these workouts, I also wanted a sense of community, which these coaches and other members bring to the table. The coaches are great and always work with you on your workouts and if you need help with nutrition, they are there for you. These classes are so fast paced and the energy level is great, you become addicted! Thanks again for all you do. I can't wait to workout again!

Constant Motion Fitness is the way to go to get in shape! I have been training with Joe for a month now, and have really noticed a difference. After 2 kids and life, I put on A LOT of weight. Not only am I down from a size 20 to a size 16, but I feel stronger and have more energy. In fact, at the bootcamp session today, I was able to run the entire 1/4 mile lap around the park. I NEVER thought that would be possible!!! Joe is an amazing trainer. Not only does he know about how to work the body for the results you want, but he also knows a lot about nutrition! He has helped tweek my diet without being restrictive. The exercises are nothing like traditional boring workouts. There was another group working out at the park where we were and they were doing crunches. Instead of crunches, I was doing rotating squat throws with a 9lb medicine ball. Not only was I working the same ab muscles as the crunch, I was also working my arms and legs and was having a WHOLE lot more FUN!!!! The bootcamp workout is different everytime. It seems like the hour flies by. If you are looking for a great workout, with a positive and fun trainer and fun folks, come on out to Bootcamp with Constant Motion Fitness! Thanks Joe!

I have been training with Joe for over a month. My motivation was to get bikini ready for a surf trip to Costa Rica(I leave in about 50 hours!!!). I was very athletic growing up in high school, college and in my 20's. I did the Rock and Roll Marathon about 4 years ago and after that I lost alot of my motivation to workout as much as I had before. Joe has helped me to get that motivation back!. Joe's workouts are always fun, challenging and are never monotonous. He focuses on exercises that work your core and I am definitely seeing results. I've been going to Constant Motion Fitness Weekly Boot Camps, so I could get into better shape to lay Ultimate! The groups are a great size, so you get a lot of personal attention. It's like you're getting a personal trainer for the price of a group session. I've known our trainer, Joe, for some time, and he is very friendly and knowledgeable. He's really good at targeting your workout to your specific goals, even though the Boot Camp sessions are group sessions. He brings lots of equipment so that you never feel like you're waiting in line for 'your turn'. I really like working out outdoors in the park as well, instead of in some sweaty musty gym. It adds a great deal to the overall experience, and makes me feel like I'm working out in the same environment I'm training for.
