Introduction: We use as many local products as we can get our hands on, source meats from ranchers who pasture raise their animals for their entire life, and our bottom line standard is to go organic. I really enjoy talking to my clients to determine exactly what they are looking for at their event. Creating custom menus that we can all get excited about is why I do this.

Carrie was Amazing! Renegade Foods catered our wedding this past September and everyone is still talking about how amazing the food was. The food was a very important aspect of our wedding, we wanted concious local food choices as well as a menu that our guests with food allergies could enjoy.Our first meeting Carrie and I went over a menu, she asked about flavor profiles, and got an idea of what food allergies we were dealing with. We communicated a couples times after that via email, Carrie was just really easy to work with. The day of the wedding was a flurry, but when my husband & I got to sit down to our reception dinner we were blown away! The food was SO delicious! She had created different sides & sauces just for us based on details she had gleaned from our communications, I was blown away at her attention to detail and care! She had also changed the menu so that all items were gluten & dairy free (we had gone over just a few dishes)! Those with allergies were so happy they could eat everything & those that don't have allergies couldn't tell that it was a special menu. Everyone was raving about how amazing the food was! To top it all off, Carrie had made us up a couple of plates for the end of the night, we were SO grateful! I would highly recommend Renegade Foods!!

Renegade Foods took care of all the food for a family get together last summer. The food was absolutely phenomenal-fresh and bright flavors! Carrie was punctual and communicated with me about all of the needs of our party. I would highly recommend Renegade foods to anyone organizing an event!

Carrie was very responsive to our requests when it came to finding a menu that was ideally suited to our Rehearsal Dinner. Our circumstances of catering an event where there was no running water or electricity were met as a welcome challenge. She was able to cope with a sudden downpour without a hitch and the food was delicious and plentiful. She did an especially good job making GF and vegetarian options available. Staff were calm and efficient. We should have discussed who would bus the tables during the event beforehand, but once pointed out they did an excellent job. Our guests all commented on how unique and flavorful the food was. Clean up was fast and thorough. We heartily recommend this group, especially if you need "wilderness catering".

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I grew tired of working for companies that made claims about the sustainable nature of their company. I decided the best way to make simply amazing food for events was to start Renegade Foods.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Custom built menus tailored to whatever the client desires. We don't offer menus for the client to choose from, we feel this limits possibilities and we are always searching for new ways of doing things.
