We had Sabrina come in for 4 hours Saturday and Sunday and she worked non-stop packing various rooms of our house, including our very cluttered kitchen. As soon as she was done with one room she'd ask what was next to do. Boxes were packed well and labeled clearly. Would definitely use her again!!
I had clutter issues and associated despair for so long over my spare bedroom. Housing out of town family and friends had become impossible. I contacted Katie with Moving on with style (the third organizer I spoke with) and immediately knew this would be a good fit. She listened well and understood what I needed. Now I have a beautiful room I actually use as a den and I have guests coming soon! The entire team was respectful, friendly and caring as well as fast and diligent. I would definitely recommend Katie and her tea and plan to use them again in other areas of my house.
It was wonderful working with Corinne. She truly has a talent for organizing spaces. My much more organized, less cluttered apartment honestly feels a lot more pleasant to live in. She had great ideas for making the most of the space, and a good eye for keeping things aesthetically pleasing while also practical. There's more room in my closet now than I would have thought possible! She also individualizes her approach to make sure that things are organized in a way that makes sense to you, making it easier for you to find things and to keep them more organized. She also was great to be around. Can't imagine a better organization professional.
I m thrilled to have found Kate on Thumbtack! She has come three time to work on problem areas in my home and the results are impressive. With limited direction she was able to provide order and structure. Thanks to Kate I don't see annoying clutter - just systems that make sense!
Closet organization Recently I had my closet reorganized by this company I was impressed with how my clutter of a mess got organized after 5 years of hoarding and I'm very satisfied with there work. I will use them for my garage next.
I hired Quinn (Think. Be Organized.) to help me organize my cramped bedroom/workspace. I got more than what I bargained for but in a good way. She made me realize that my biggest problem was hanging on to things I didn't need or use anymore. After some well-deserved tough love, I reluctantly began to let go and before long, I was excited to get rid of so much clutter. The result was a much cleaner and well-organized space. I appreciated Quinn's "reality check" to help me maintain my new cleaner space. Even now, I review my apartment and ask myself "What would Quinn say about this?" I wish I could hire her again to come to the east coast and help me organize my new place!
Lisa Sulgit was a major help in getting my closets organized and usable again. She has the ability to provide guidance and clarity to clear out the clutter and open up a lot of space.
I normally don't take the time to write a review about any service unless it's extraordinary. My home office started looking like a storage locker with papers stacked all over. It got to the point where I didn't even want to go in anymore. It was just depressing to look at. I was very hesitant in hiring Karen to come over because the task seem so simple and to be honest I was a little embarrassed. I committed to hiring her for a couple of hours and after seeing the progress that was being made I ended up keeping her for half a day. Now I just didn't send her in the room and said organize it and I'll check back with you in a while. I actually sat and work right beside her answering her questions about the piles of papers and placing them in an organized fashion so that I knew and understood where everything was. I'm a little bit of a control freak. What we accomplished in a half day was amazing. Probably the biggest gift of all is that I have this piece of mind and a sense of just feeling more organized. I didn't realize how much that unorganized room took up space in my mind. My apologies for rambling on here but if you need that little push or encouragement to clean up the clutter in your life, well all I can say is hire her and find out for yourself. My next project with her will be my garage! Thank you Karen! Paul
Sue is wonderful! My kitchen has been set free! I have known Sue a long time and was familiar with some of her organizing methods, but I had clung to the clutter in my kitchen until it was becoming difficult to function there. The clutter was oppressive. It was time to do something. Sue dove in with me, and she gently helped me to weed out what was not needed and to get the right things in the right places. She worked with me for about a day and a half---this was an accumulation of many years' worth of stuff!---and she did it with such wisdom, understanding, patience, and kindness. As she helped me make decisions, I never felt judged or rushed. Cabinet by cabinet and counter by counter, Sue brought clarity and order. As we progressed, I began to sense my mind becoming less cluttered as well as my kitchen! Sue is positive, encouraging and inspiring. She's also just a lot of fun. Sue brought a fresh viewpoint and real solutions to organizational problems that had been entangling me for a long time. As I work in my kitchen now, I am amazed to find everything I need right at hand and accessible with no rummaging. I really do have "time to spare," and my kitchen looks much prettier and more inviting too. My only regret is that I didn't get Sue's help sooner! As I said, she is wonderful!
My wife and I both suffer from extreme lack of organization, way too much stuff, and no time to remedy any of it. Jen came in and in quick order got our living room, dining room and kitchen into shape and into a system that even I could keep up with! It is so nice to come home and not feel guilty about the clutter. Thanks Jen!
Due to a death in the family, combining 3 households into 1 small house & an extended illness- we had lost control of our home. We had so much STUFF in stacks, in boxes & it was piled up EVERYwhere. We couldn't find anything, we were too embarrassed to let anyone into our home & we couldn't possible imagine that we would ever get it all organized. I had absolutely NO idea how or where to start and I was seriously depressed by the whole situation. I looked online for 'professional organizers' and am so glad I saw Allie's post. It was an extremely difficult call to make, but it all turned out so well that I'm very happy I did. I was worried about being judged, embarrassed & ashamed of how messy & cluttered everything was. I was absolutely dreading having to show all of it to someone, especially a stranger. But when Allie didn't run out of our house screaming, and instead seemed to already have a plan of not only WHERE & HOW to START, she was also able to envision what it all could become. With time, and due to Allie's excellent communication skills, it didn't take long for me to start feeling hopeful about our situation for the first time in a very long time. Very soon after Allie arrived for our initial consultation I knew I had made a good choice in calling her and as the work began & Allie helped me to actually find a "starting place" I was even happier that I found her. I'm not sure where to start when it comes to why Allie was so incredibly helpful to us. My moral was very low, I couldn't find a "starting point" and Allie almost immediately made me feel that it was doable and that it was possible to get our house back & to be able to enjoy it again. She had the knowledge of HOW to do it as well as a VISION of what it could be. Allie is also a great listener, sometimes her first idea of what to do w/ something wasn't a great fit to how we actually lived & she was always very flexible & open to making adjustments that would work for us. She has so many wonderful ideas about organizing homes, rooms & lives that I'm sure she's able to customize her plans to fit just about anyone's specific needs & wants. She has a great "eye" when it comes to style/colors/design and we ended up doing a bit of re-decorating too & that was a HUGE plus for me- & for us. It was the icing on the cake! I was continually impressed with Allie's eye for detail, her professionalism, work ethic (I seriously don't think she ever sat down in the months that she was with us) she appears tireless & she's surprisingly physically strong for her size, so don't let it fool you. :) I truly have never met anyone more reliable, more detailed oriented or more resourceful. Any BIG project I can imagine, whether it be organizing your house, planning your wedding or any other event that requires attention to details, timeliness and organizational skills are exactly the kind of thing that Allie is able to do, accomplish, make look easy & effortless. It doesn't hurt that she's a very very hard worker. In my experience, most people usually do not excel at ALL stages of a project. Some people are "big picture" people while others are better with details. It is no exaggeration to say that Allie is truly able to do it all: Set goals, plan how to accomplish them & what order things should be done in. There's her attention to detail and how quickly she seems to be able to pull things together that I have no doubt would've taken me at least 3 times longer. And all the while she's performing these organizational miracles, she's sweet, kind, TIDY, I mean very neat-- & somehow she keeps herself organized while fighting her way thru a huge mess. (It's actually pretty amazing to watch her work. Seriously. There were times when "Tasmanian Devil" or "Whirling Dervish" came to mind-- but in a GOOD way!) She's pretty darn amazing & I'm grateful for all of the different kinds of things she helped me with since meeting. She's also got a hilarious sense of humor once you get to know her! Even when I was feeling the most stressed & overwhelmed while we worked on my house, I never once saw Allie waiver in her professionalism or her personal belief (and vision) regarding the possibilities that were tangled up in our big messy pile of stuff. I honestly don't know anyone like her. I believe "overachiever" or "determined" might be good words to describe her, but she's not stubborn, at least not when it comes to her work (you would have to ask her husband about how she is when she's off the clock) It's not an exaggeration to say that Allie actually did change how I look at those things in life that torment us, that LOOM, that we try to avoid or we put off for as long as we can. Having seen her do what I really believed was the impossible (organizing my home, husband & 3 dogs) made a lasting impression on me & I'm grateful for that (probably unintended) gift she gave. I honestly would trust Allie with anything. If she says she'll do it, she will. If she says she'll be there, she will. And if she tells you that you can accomplish your goal, whatever it may be, you should believe her because she will guide you, motivate you & lead you thru it. AND, she's more than capable of just doing it herself, if that's what you're looking for.
Denise helped me remove clutter from my office and helped me organize what needed to be kept. "Less clutter in the office = less clutter in the mind" Thanks Denise! Dean
Amazing results from and amazing person! Sarah helped me organize and redesign my space to fit my style and personality. I'm a self proclaimed pack rat and she helped me reduce the clutter in my life and create solutions to store my 'stuff' in a beautiful, neat and clean way that is sustainable. She is professional, thoughtful, and uber chic, would definitely recommend her and will be calling on her when I purchase my new house!
My wife and I hired Brenda to organize several rooms in our home (garage, kitchen, master closet, pantry, etc). My wife was emotional about keeping a lot of things in our house that were simply causing clutter. Brenda was very gracious in helping us sort through things and get rid of much of the stuff we didn't need. Our house is now very neat, clean and organized. Brenda even gave us a written plan on how to keep our house looking the way it did when we were done organizing. We feel so relieved that we can live in our house without looking at all of that clutter. Brenda is one of a kind and will do an awesome job for your organizing needs!
Kelly is a life saver and so easy to work with . She keeps me motivated and calm so I don’t get overwhelmed. Best thing I have done this year is hiring her help with my clutter and organizing.
I had a storage closet that had so much clutter I could not walk through nor could I ever find what I was looking for. Whitney from Fix Your Space turned my closet into an organized and attractive space that I can now walk into and locate anything I need. She listened to my needs and promptly got to work putting together like items and labeling baskets and bins. The transformation of this storage closet was unbelievable... no more hunting and digging for me! I definitely will be contacting Whitney again for my next project!
Lorraine sorted a huge pile of bills and paperwork, helped me label it in folders, and reduced the clutter of my filing system MASSIVELY. The stress reduction of getting the help I needed was immediate and lasting.
SOS helped design a master closet for me most recently but I've also used them for packing up and organizing my move-in to my new home. Everything went better than expected. SOS showed me techniques to clear the clutter and found great ways to figure out how to help me remain organized pre and post move. That was done by evaluating how I use different things, how often, grouping things together, finding tools to help make the most use of space, etc. It was a real eye-opener and worth the investment and opportunity to do things differently.
I hired Combat Life Clutter to help me get my house ready to put on the market. They came out quickly, on time and were very professional. Their quality of work was great and my house looked amazing in no time. I will definitely use Combat Life Clutter again.
