Responds to emails/texts right away. She is an experienced teacher who transmits the joy and philosophy of dancing. Before you know it, you are dancing and not just memorizing steps.

Cathy was great!! She was very friendly and made the lesson fun. I hired Cathy so me and my husband were more comfortable at our wedding. We danced the night away! Thank you Cathy!

About this pro

Cathy has a unique approach to teaching partner dance. Focusing on "Social Dancing" as opposed to "competitive dancing", She teaches how to dance with any partner to any song rather than memorizing steps and routines for only one. Emphasis is on having fun while learning the techniques of movement, leading and following, partnering, musical expression. She gives you the tools to learn to dance smooth and naturally and to develop your own creativity with confidence. This is not a "Studio". We do not require contracts. If you once pay for one of our "Regularly Scheduled Classes" (4 weeks of 1hr/week) you are entitled to FREE REPEATS for that class every time that class is offered and at no additional charge. This allows you to become more confident and competent over time. Classes are geared for beginners or intermediate level dancers. Four weeks of class cost $45/single person or $80/couple. Private lessons are available at $45/hr. Professionally trained in American and International Styles of Ballroom and Latin, Swing, Night Club, Country Western, and Victorian/Historical dances. I have been teaching partner dancing in Colorado for over 30 years. Social dancing has been an important part of the building of communities throughout our history. The love of dance was passed on to me from my grandfather and my mother. I feel a responsibility to keep social dancing alive in our communities for the generations. I believe anyone who can walk can dance. My greatest reward is to bring the natural dancer out in those students who think they cannot dance. I see joy in young and old alike in being able to move to music with another person and I see the physical, mental, and psychological health benefits that come from dance. What's not to love about sharing that with others?
