Mariah was so great to work with. She was so knowledgeable, helpful and reliable. She had good ideas about things that helped make our big day even more special. She met with us several times before the wedding and even one time after to debrief. I really liked the debrief meeting because we got to spend time together, relax and laugh about the even instead of plan out more details. She listened to what we wanted and make it happen. Having Mairah there to support our wedding day was hands down one of the best decisions we made throughout the entire planning process… I would almost say it tied with deciding to marry my husband. She was not only incredibly easy to work with but also so much fun. She had a great vision for the space and made our nontraditional surprise wedding celebration everything we could have ever hoped for. There were a lot of little details that had to line up perfectly in order to keep the surprise element of the day for all of our guests, Mariah handled everything with ease. Our timeline got pushed back and we had to make a handful of game time decisions and she handled it all flawlessly. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?We have standard pricing based on the services needed and can also customize something for your specific requests and needs. Just give us a call to get the party started!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?At details details, we start with a complimentary meet and greet session. This is our way to learn about you as a couple; understand your visions, wants and needs; and most importantly, ensure there is a mutual fit on both sides. We also gauge your level of support to make sure expectations will be met on both sides. Once the deposit has been paid and the contract signed, we send our business policies template. For month of coordination (DOC), we'll send over a 30-day checklist and create a google drive so contracts can be uploaded as we like to be your second set of eyes. For partial or full-planning, we start scheduling planning sessions based on certain milestones set. With all services levels, you can count on us to help execute vendor management, timeline creation, and floor plan layout. Using your vision and guidelines, we’ll coordinate the rehearsal, ceremony, and reception.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I've been a certified wedding and event planner for over 7 years (through QC Event School) and am licensed and insured. I'm heavily involved in the wedding industry in Denver through various monthly and bi-monthly planning groups and professional memberships along with travel to international events to keep up with industry standards, trends and new ideas. I also have a BS in Marketing and International Business. My life revolves around reviewing contracts, negotiating, project management, etc. I've got this covered!
