Ashley is a very pleasant young woman who gave us a lot of information to help us in choosing design elements for our kitchen/ home update. She is very knowledgeable and exhibited a very good artistic sense. She offered ideas that were very helpful for us to understand and to implement her ideas. We would very highly recommend her and plan to consult her in the future. She filled the time we spent with her with professional ideas and a sensitivity to our tastes and circumstances.Aug 22, 2018Verified
I am making changes to exterior and some interior paint and needed a second opinion on the colors. Ashley understood my style and chose colors which would compliment my existing color scheme. She had great ideas, suggestions, and advice. I highly recommend her and would hire her again. Thank you Ashley!May 5, 2018Verified
Just started working with Ashley... excited to move forward on our project with her!Jan 19, 2018Verified
My husband and I *had* somewhat different styles, which made for a pretty eclectic living room / dining room space in our home. Ashley did a great job at helping us communicate our vision to one another, and it turned out that our styles were more similar than either of us had thought. The process from start to finish was very professional (and fun)! Ashley does a great job of listening, communicating, planning and executing while also being very mindful of budget. We look forward to continuing to use Ashley's expertise as we begin to redesign other spaces in our home.Mar 22, 2016Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I offer my services on an hourly approach and provide all my Clients with a Letter of Agreement before we initiate a project. It lays out the work to be done, the estimated hours to achieve and then I collect a retainer of 50% up front. Once the retainer has been met in Design Services offered, I then move into monthly billing. My billing is broken down into three categories, Design Services, Travel and Mileage and each invoice is very transparent as to date, services and time it required broken into 1/4 hr increments like any other professional service.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I begin with an initial phone call where they can ask questions of me and I of my potential new Clients. We can discuss things like scope of work, ideal timeline, any progress so far, any trades hired, budget, goals for finished product, family and lifestyle needs etc. Then, if it sounds like both parties would like to move forward into the bidding stage we can schedule a time for a site visit. During this time ideal scope will be clarified, budget will be stated as accurately as possible, site photos taken and then I will deliver a Letter of Agreement for my Clients to review. Upon executing the agreement we are off to the races!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have two degrees, a BS from University of Colorado, Boulder in Advertising and Marketing and a BA from the Art Institute of CO, Denver in Interior Design. Over the years I am involved in various trade organizations and continuing education forums.
