Over the last 5+ years that Paul spent teaching my son who is now a senior in high school, we’ve come to learn that Paul is punctual, communicates well with parents, and a fantastic drummer; whether rock, jazz, or latin he does them all tastefully. Paul’s diverse style is one of the reasons why my son is the most sought-after drummer in his school of 3000 kids. Paul also jams on the guitar to compliment the drum lessons.Jul 1, 2019
I was recommended to Paul by a friend. He is so patient with me, and knows how to keep things fun! He's also incredibly knowledgeable in his teaching. He has encouraged me every step of the way! I have taken lessons with other teachers, and Paul is unique in that he brings his guitar to lessons so we get to "jam" and I feel like I'm in a band. I would recommend him for all ages. Love him!Oct 24, 2017

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Free introductory lesson. $45 per hour $50 to $60 for in-home lessons, depending on time and location.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I offer a free 1/2 hour introductory lesson at my studio in the Cherry Creek area of Denver. This will give us a chance to make sure we're a good match, and that I can help you meet your goals as a drummer.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have been a drummer for over 30 years, with experience playing a wide range of musical styles including Rock, Jazz, Blues, Funk, Grunge, Afro Cuban, and Experimental music. In Los Angeles, I had the good fortune to study privately with notable drummers such as Tony Braunagle, Peter Erskine, David Garibaldi, and Jeff Hamilton. I have toured throughout the United States, playing music venues such as The El Rey Theater in Los Angeles, The Bowery Ballroom in New York City, and The Bluebird Theater and Dazzle Jazz in Denver. Over the last 6 years, I have been performing with an ensemble that performs at Denver Public Schools; providing a music program that focuses on the History of Jazz.
