FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is typically never the cheapest. But, there is a good reason for it. I purchase the best professional equipment on the market from manufacturers like Canon, Sony, and ProFoto (lighting). Great camera bodies are one thing but, the glass you mount on them is another. A great camera body is severely compromised by the cheaper glass. I ALWAYS have backup equipment with me. I am always open to a pricing discussion. It's important to me a client knows why I price an event at a specific level.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I ask a lot of questions about your vision. The better I understand you the better the photographs come out. I'm not shy about directing people typically in a humorous way. It's great when clients send me sample images of the style they like.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been capturing images most of my life. I have invested in many online courses and attend professional workshops. I never stop learning and researching what other pros are up to. I review all kinds of images every day adding to my ideas while on a shoot.
