Kathryn was such a pleasure to work with. What I needed was unique for me and she really delivered. She was low cost and provided updates throughout the project for review and she finished within budget! I will certainly call her again. I'm glad to have found her and appreciative of Thumbtack for making this possible.Sep 18, 2013Verified
- What types of customers have you worked with?Kathryn can work on projects of any scope, from the inkling of an idea, to everything in between, the finished piece, print, web design or product. A great collaborator, she's equally at home working with your in-house creative staff or tailoring a team, hand-picked from her large pool of creative partners/associatesfrom copywriters and web developers to illustrators, photographers, digital media gurus, and more. When you hire her, you get a graphic designer with real-world understanding of business goals and objectives. She can juggle multiple projects and she always meets or exceeds deadlines. If you're looking for uncommonly good concepts that break the mold without breaking your marketing and advertising budget, call her at 303.892.766, or visit CjD.rocks
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take? From bland to brand in 7 days! 2013 in CJD AND PMC Kathryn Jones of Chelsea Jones Design and Jennifer Smoldt of Precision Marketing & Communications, just completed a complete brand package for a client in only one week -- including logo, tagline, brand positioning and research, website content, website redesign, business cards and sell sheets. The client looks professional, credible, and now has the tools they need to grow their business.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?Do some homework... know your budget, what you like, examples are always good. Pricing is a difficult part of our job as designers, as good design is subjective and multifaceted. The more information the client can provide the designer budget, timelines, examples, expectations, likes, hates...the better the communication between client and designer. The result: not only will the client get what they need, but also something they love. It should be a good experience for both client and designer. Art is fun.
