We do not offer painting services, thank you for all the interest we have received! We can provide quick estimates for a project with some basic information. Bids/Quotes require comprehensive details and/or plans. Our pricing is based on the total number of sheets installed or to be installed. The following information is needed for an Estimate: •Total floor area and number of rooms (including hallways and bathrooms) Or Plans/Drawings •Does the project require any or all of the following: Install, Finish, Texture •Desired Finish and/or Texture (Levels 3, 4 or 5; Knockdown/orange peel, pool trowel, skip trowel, Spanish Knife, etc) •Max ceiling height •If site protection is needed (masking of floors or similar finished surfaces) •If a dumpster will be provided For a Bid or Quote we will need all of the above in addition to a set of plans/architectural drawings for the project.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our process moves forward as follows from initial contact: 1) The customer provides the information described in our pricing section here on Thumbtack (or on our website) 2) We review the project details and furnish a not-exceed quote 3) If accepted we collect contact information such as email and property address and then provide a written itemized quote along with a link to our service agreement where start date, scope and duration of the project will be clearly outlined 4) Project commencement and completion 5) Customer walkthrough and Completion Payment (Per Colorado law Customers may retain up to 5% of the total value of the contract until punch-list items are complete) 6) If applicable: Punch-List items, Final Walkthrough and Final Payment
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked in custom home remodeling and construction from 2016 to 2020. 10 years of carpentry starting with small home repair and then moved into building small wooden boats while still living on the East Coast. Over the past 15 years I've had experience with every aspect of home maintenance and construction. I returned to my own business after project management and found that I thoroughly enjoy drywall work (please don't judge me) and changed focus to specialize solely on this discipline.
