- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
A HouseMaster home inspection provides you with the knowledge you need to make a good home buying experience. No only will you get a full analysis of the home's condition but you will receive access the HouseMaster Cloud home management system for life, buyer benefits including discounts at major retailors, a repair estimator and a limited repair reimbursement guarantee.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A quick over the phone consultation will get you scheduled with a HouseMaster Inspector. He will meet you and/or your agent at the home, in uniform, driving a HouseMaster vehicle. After a short overview of the home the inspector will get right to work checking the elements of your new house. The Inspector will give a brief summery of findings to those attending the inspection along with maintenance and an overview of the major systems in the home. In 24-48 hours you will receive your written inspection report via the HouseMaster Cloud. The cloud will help help you create a repair list to review with your agent and you can use the repair estimator to understand the costs or each repair item.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
HouseMastser Inspectors are trained annually at the National Institute of Building Inspectors. Additional training in radon measurement, mold and spore sampling, water testing have been completed.
