Instantly felt a connection to the instructors and horses. Such a comfortable place and tons of horse education, even on my first day. Met two other students who were very friendly and were really enjoying themselves as well. So glad to be back in the saddle!
Alex is a great tutor. I was struggling with calculus and he was able to guide me. He makes you work through the problem and truly conceptualize what is infront of you. Highly recommend
We felt in home tutoring was a way to go and then switched over to online. Both are great choices.
We met and subsequently hired Saili to tutor our gifted and talented son. She is impressive and we look forward to working with her.
An awesome tutor! My child's grades improved two grade levels within the first month of getting tutored. I am extremely happy!
Tyler is very patient and knowledgeable when tutoring math. He has helped my daughter better understand the principles when using geometry. He has been a great help in getting her ready for the SAT.
My daughter feels much more confident in the subject she was struggling in since working with Sara. I have referred friends to Peak Performance Tutoring. Highly recommend!
Donna was a wonderful GRE tutor! She provided me with excellent study materials and made learning the quantitative section much easier for me.
Patience with kids that may not catch on as quick, ability to work with the kids with learning disabilities and the variety of teaching methods David is able to apply on an individual basis
We love working with Moises! After just two weeks of tutoring, my daughter said "Now I understand the mistakes I have been making in math and I also understand how to do it right next time. I am starting to like math." Moises knows how to teach so that the information goes from short term memory to long term memory. We also have my son taking guitar lessons with Moises. He loves it so much he has requested lessons twice a week. We feel fortunate to have found someone who can work effectively with a student with ADD and that is an overall great teacher and kind person.
I hired Mr. Edwards for tutoring in College Algebra. I have not started my class yet, but Mr. Edwards has already been helpful in meeting with me one night a week to get me ready for when I do start class in the Spring. He is very easy going which makes it really easy to talk to him and ask questions. I would recommend Mr. Edwards to anyone who was looking for a math tutor!
I appreciate Ann as an online tutor. Ann is a certified Reading Interventionist with a big heart for helping kids succeed in the area of reading. I met Ann through a group I created called The Ultimate Support Group for Online Tutors. She is always willing to help others, be of service, speak at conferences, and share her knowledge. I have had the opportunity to watch Ann teach lessons to kids through videos she has submitted to me, and I was impressed with how well she connected with her students and how effective she was as a tutor. You would have to be crazy not to hire Ann.
My daughter, Lauren, was having some trouble with Spanish; in one afternoon of tutoring with Hannah, Hannah got her organized with new study skills. Lauren's quiz improved a whole letter grade. Hannah was very persistent in finding Lauren's needs in Spanish. She quickly addressed them, and built on her skills. We were very pleased with Hannah's services, and it didn't take much to get the ball rolling for Lauren. I highly recommend you hire Hannah.
My son has some challenges with mathematics, and especially with test anxiety. Sandy is a calm and reinforcing mentor and tutor, and she quickly created a trusting relationship with my son so that he could feel safe making mistakes. She creates an atmosphere where my son can come up to speed in the subjects that challenge him personally, and she is thoughtful in setting goals and a path for success. She is an excellent tutor.
Noel has tutored me in physics and in calculus. In both classes I struggled the first semester until I found Noel. He was able to teach me the things I didn't understand and also helped me with my test anxiety. I had other tutors before Noel and Noel has been the best out of them all. His experience in math and science shows through when he tutors me. I highly recommend Noel as a tutor.
I've worked three times with Stephenie and she is so patient. Also, she has been available in a pinch when I've needed her. She's made College Algebra a lot less intimidating and I am so grateful to have found her.
We used Jennetta's tutoring service for our son's Algebra tutoring and we were amazed by how thorough and diligent she was! We received weekly email updates on his progress which was very helpful. Thanks so much to Jennetta

If you don't get it, I'll help you find your way. I'll help you speak math not rote memorization of arithmetic.
I have been a professional tutor for the last 2 years and have helped students achieve their goals in all levels of math, reading, and writing. From teaching 4th-6th grades to serving as a senior outdoor education instructor, I have held many roles in education. I currently hold a professional license to teach in the state of Colorado and am a certified Calming Kids Yoga instructor. I also helped revamp the curriculum for the National Youth Leadership Training Institute with the Boy Scouts of America. I have experience with Everyday Math, Singapore Math, Every Child a Reader, DIBBELS, Readers and Writers Workshop, and other elementary programs. Clients can expect my tutoring sessions to be targeted to the individual needs of my students. We will use a variety of mediums to meet the needs of the student. I believe that communication is critical between teachers, tutors, and families to help maximize our time together. I typically meet families in their home for 1-2 times per week. Having a professional teaching license, I am quite familiar with the goals and objectives of an elementary curriculum and seek to connect students in engaging ways with the material. I believe that hands-on education helps provide opportunities for all students to critically analyze our world. One such example of capitalizing on little loved resources came when I tutored a lesson on the rock cycle to a small group of students. Out of the box, I deliberately selected the worn down, wrapper-less, seemingly uninspiring crayons that most students would throw away in an effort to be creative. These brave little volunteers would serve as my test subjects. Slowly, I cut the crayon bits into small chunks. One could feel the excitement in my room! After taking turns pounding on the tin foil to represent pressures within the Earth, we exposed the crayons to heat via a dumpster dived candle and reused piece of tin foil leftover from our mystery meat camp dinner. My students synthesized their own theories before we compared what actual Stem scientists had concluded. And, best of all, this lesson used recycled materials!
I have passion for teaching Mathematics and would love to share the knowledge with the students as well as help and guide in their homeworks.
