Introduction: PLEASE NOTE: SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY :) ONLY AVAILABLE FOR VIRTUAL TRAINING (ONLINE) (NO IN-PERSON TRAINING AVAILABLE) My name is Mary and I have been in love with fitness since I was 12 years old! I am super upbeat, encouraging, and passionate about fitness! I love all types of movement! I put a lot of care, attention, and focus into customizing workout plans. (takes me hours because I create workouts utilizing multiple muscle groups - the moves are new and innovative every session) and I want to be sure each client is thriving during their workouts. It's crucial to perform movements with proper form so that you do not get injured or strain anything. My attention is soley focused on my client for that hour; I am here to help you reach your goals :) A little background on me: I rowed competitively in High School and after college, I moved to Sydney, Australia where I was introduced to F45. F45 is 45 minutes of high intensity interval training! The focus is on performing the most effective functional movements that build tons of muscle and work multiple muscle groups at once. I learned a lot from F45, but I also saw the drawbacks. HIIT is super effective and quite intense, but I also learned about balancing it out with super effective lower intensity movements. Finding balance is critically important for the longevity of your fitness journey, which varies for each individual. I have 'officially' been in the fitness industry for 5 years as a group trainer and have 1 solid year of personal training under my belt. The feedback I have received has been overwhelmingly positive (yet to have 1 negative comment) all of my clients love the creativity, innovation and ingenuity of my workouts. You will never do the same workout twice with me. I like to add lots of variety to workouts. You also do not have to count reps with me!!! I have a handy timer that we use. It is all time based! I utilize this method because it is scientifically proven that the most effective way to burn fat is through intervals. (For example, you may do 30 seconds of work/10 seconds of rest for each exercise.) Your heart rate is constantly going up and down. Doing HIIT increases the afterburn effect, which means once you are finished your workout, you will continue to burn fat and calories for the rest of the day! Score! I personally love mixing up my workouts, so I do the same with my clients. For most people that enjoy doing HIIT (no more than 3x a week), we mix it up with strength training, lots of stretching, and yoga and pilates for those that enjoy it. I am currently in a course to become a certified Health Coach by February 2022. Health coaches address the root causes of certain symptoms and guide clients in holistic healing, addressing all areas of life. Mary is my go to weekly trainer!! She motivates me and challenges me every session. She caters to my knee injury as well and helps strengthen my muscles to help alleviate pain from my injury. I look forward to our virtual sessions every week.

Mary is super motivating, efficient and professional. She pays attention to form and is very helpful with cues for alignment. Her workouts are well thought out and she is always prepared. She makes working out fun and is energetic and positive!! You can tell how committed she is and has a wide variety of experience and it shows in her individualized approach.

Mary is simply INCREDIBLE!!!!! She changed my life in so many amazing and positive ways. Even as I age, I continue to feel more energized and stronger because of her. She comes up with the most creative workouts that challenge your whole body. BOY does she know her stuff!!! She has helped my life tremendously and I cannot recommend her enough! She introduced me to massage devices and for that I am forever grateful! LOL Full of so much knowledge and value, I highly highly recommend this one. She will get you whatever kind of result you are looking for!

Mary has helped me immensely on my fitness journey. Every session is valuable and I leave feeling more motivated and fit than the last. She has shown me various exercises and stretches I can do for my injured shoulder. Look forward to many more training sessions

Mary is the BEST! I stopped working out when the pandemic hit, and when I finally decided I had to do something about my low energy and sluggishness, I asked if she would train me. I only wish I'd asked her sooner! She excels at designing interesting workouts with lots of support and encouragement. I feel challenged, but never overwhelmed or discouraged. I've never really been athletic, so I'm especially proud of how strong I feel since I've been working out with Mary. I'm going to be 50 this year and I feel better about my body than I did when I was 30! Mary is wonderful!

    ACE certified and CPR/AED certified since 2017

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

    From 2 years old to 92 years old, I have worked with the most diverse demographic. My clientele ranges from clients with special needs, to no arms, to every sort of injury or muscle limitation you could think of. I love every age. I currently teach 2 chair classes a week to seniors: chair aerobics and chair yoga. I love yoga and teach it too (as requested by my clients), though I have not completed my 200 hour teacher training for it, which they are well aware of. I am very honest, open, and transparent.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

    Look for someone who matches your personality and fits what you are looking for. It's good to be clear about expectations and have open, honest communication with each other.
